Are affiliate conferences still worth it these days?

Hey BHW,

Our team hits pretty much every big affiliate conference out there — SiGMA, iGB, AWC, you name it. Always cool vibes, tons of booths, parties, and some wild setups.

But real talk — are these events still worth it for affiliates and webmasters in 2025? Do you guys still find good partners, traffic deals, or insights there… or is most of the real action happening online now (Skype, Telegram, etc.)?

The booths, the meet market, the meetings are, and have always been in my experience, not value other than to get billboard exposure.

The money in those conferences is in the relationships you develop.

I was fortunate enough back when I attended those to be involved with a lot of good people, some who became clients, some who already were clients and that is where the value is.

Maybe those events can offer something for you. It looks like people who have been in affiliate marketing for a long time are exhausted from such events.

But making genuine connections with potential partners or finding unique deal opportunities face-to-face? That's harder to replicate through remote chats. Go for the relationships and the specific deal flow, not just the general knowledge.

Will you be attending the last events of this year – AW in Bangkok or Sigma in Rome?
