I was looking for a seller on Fiverr who could deliver a decent expired domain and I came across a vendor who claimed they could find DA 50+ domains all day.
I was intrigued because I was under the understanding that it was almost impossible to get quality domains with those metrics without having to at least go through an aftermarket auction.
I asked for a sample of one of the domains and this is what I saw in Ahrefs.
A bunch of links from different Google domains.
So, as the title says, are these links even useful? They pumped up the DR of the website in question to DR 60 but, you know, it's a useless metric.

, mostly 80% PBN sellers increased the metrics like that, its not a spam but its the way to power up the seo metrics of PBN to sale the PBN with high price.
