Nice thread
I hope I could earn through this method.
Hey BB cheers for that awesome thread I was about to get into apps so this is extremely useful.
Just trying to summarize the process and visualize the initial investment here.
- I buy a source code (100 bucks ?)
- I hire a developper to tweak it around (another hundred ?)
- I pay the developper fee on the apple store (another hundred)
- I select keywords
- I throw the app, and start promoting ---> Some dude here is making it for 5 cents / install (30 bucks for 600 inst) and you said it takes 600 to 700 install per day to get a fifty bucks revenue for a decent app, so promotion is about 30 bucks a day (for how many days ?)
and then you just wait. I am correct so far ?
you should put more investment in designer rather than developer imo (not saying developer isnt important but between the two i believe designer is much more important)
also from my experience you shouldn't just spend your money to buy installs. you should also advertise it through youtube channels, facebook ads, etc. buying installs are just to pump up your ranking in the play store which (if you are in very tough category) can be waste of money if you have tight budget considering other players also buy installs. one more thing i notice is that trying to make money through ads is a waste of time. in-app purchase works way better (for games, at least)
Apart from fiverr, is there any website where I can purchase iOS free app reviews as low as 1 at a time with cost of review at around $0.25-$0.30?
is your installs can be for the US chart?
shady Blackhatworld forum
do you still recommend buying app source codes and putting those up? or do you recommend making your own? your posts have two different opinions
