I never bought a domain before, and figured I could pay for only a few months, but you have to buy domain names for a whole year like 10$ each. I only have like 20$ on me right now.

You should buy one at godaddy and get your first .com domain for only $1.
 
There are some other cheap domain name registrars out there. Just do a general google search for cheap domain names and you'll see a ton of them pop up.
 
namecheap is selling .xyz's for 15 cents each for the rest of the month

it's not a dot com but for 15cents you can't argue with that. get your revenue up then get dot coms when you have the funds. but that's just my opinion. there are other threads floating around discussing how good xyz domains are.
 
google 99 cents domain you will see results with coupons
 
create 3 emails
use browser incognito mode or different browsers
go to 1and1
create new domain for $1 for each email address

There is a Chome/Firefox addon called "Honey" that automatically finds and applies the best coupons for websites. Give that a shot on Godaddy. I never pay more than $2 for a .com domain.
 
I picked up a 1.99 .com at 101domain.com a few days ago.

Search for coupon on the big G.
 
namecheap, you can buy 11 domains for 10$ :))
 
Dotster was giving away .com domains for $1.99 (more than 1 AFAIK) today without coupon codes and with coupon codes you could have got .com for $1.59 at Dotster. They stopped the promo though.
What you can do is create new account in GoDaddy and buy one for $0.99, create a new account in BigRock and buy one for $2.5 (use coupon: BRCUPNC1O5M9) and then buy the last one from 1and1 for $0.99
 
Check namecheap for xyz domain, goes for $0.15 each.
 
I bought like 15 domains for 99 cents on Godaddy and they are OK. Or at least I'm ok.
 
In order to rush domains at that price, you would have to buy off-label domain extensions.

Via .info, .xyz as noted above until expiry of that special offer or other generic names, .biz etc.
