Anyone using Second life?

sorry to resurect an old thread, but ive been browsing through second life recently,
and a few things mentioned above could be utilized.

Although casino and gambling games are technically banned in SL, there is a game called zyngo which you can legally use in second life, its essentially a form of bingo, ive noticed a few zyngo parlours set up around SL and i think there is money in it.

Would anyone be interested in setting up a parlour or two, all that would be required would be some land and some L$ and the machines, i think a block of machines costs around 2000 L$ for the legit ones which is pocket change really in terms of real money.

I hung around a few of the parlours for a while and they average around 10 people in them at anyone time with the average cost for a game around $5 though there are high stakes ones too.

The possiblity is there to use the script posted above with "ATM" machinces as well as maybe hiring a few dancers / hookers if the parlour is set up in an adult zone.

I know this is incredibly geeky (i honestly dont spend my days on second life lol).

Sounds good. Am I motivated? Yes, will I do anything about it? No -_-

Then why the hell are you replying to this thread? :y: Seriously man... it looks like you're just trying to raise your post count or something!

might work.. if you have the land..

I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen someone post that second life actually converts it's play money into to real USD... You can just exchange you ingame cash for money... I think the current conversion is like $1000 Linden (play money) = $4.02 USD?

You can buy land and put your put incentives in for users to complete your CPA offers... you can hire strippers and dancers, but games for users to play and pay for. It's virtual it's own small scale casino. I think I spent about $5 usd just to get some start up cash and I spent it super fast. I see allot of ewhores in there making a killing. There are huge adult themed places with hundreds of active people running about... I smell a cash cow.

I'm interested in finding ways to monetize this since it's relativity new territory (apparently 2nd life just started allowing links out to other websites from their gui back in March). I seen one popular piece of land had given out over "$52k" in fake money to users who filled out surveys at $75 fake dollars a pop... While the person who's affiliate link they used... Well you can imagine.

I'm relativity new to the whole thing but I've learned quit a bit. I'm intrested in building objects, scripting and avatar design as well. Does anyone have a premium membership? Making any revenue? Do share and experience.

I have a pretty good idea for a site/store if there's a user in here interested in helping me out with the idea PM me. I have experience skinning 3d models, making objects ect.

That's kinda cool. I've never thought of using them this way....

I have found Secondlife the best place to do CPA offers. The noobs in Secondlife will do virtually anything for $50. But thats Linden Dollars and lucky for us 50 linden dollers is like 40 cents or something. I know real women that do cam sex in SL for less then that.

You can litrally go around and do hundreds of CPA's for less then $10 USD.

And the best thing is that most CPA networks do not count referrals as either social networking or search campaigns if the come from SL.

:)
