Anyone using AI content detector?

Hi,

Anyone using this tool: https://copyleaks.com/ai-content-detector? Does it give a real result?

Yesterday, one of my clients told me that our content was AI-detected. I also checked on the same day, and it showed me the same error.

Today! We wrote another piece of content, and it again shows the same error: "AI content detected." When I checked my old content again, it said "This is human text". I was caught between the client and the writer.

Valuable input about this tool is welcome.
AI content detectors are highly unreliable, I personally donot use them on regular basis but I checked with ChatGPT itself and said the content was written by it which was an old blog of mine. And there's an article I found which states the same, sharing screenshot from the blog which show how AI detectors are fluff.

I have generated tons of content using AI in the past and used numerous tools, including Originality.ai. Let me tell you one thing; your content needs to be readable and engaging to the readers. AI-Generated content is bland, very generic, and follows a writing pattern.

If you somehow make it interesting with AI, content detectors will not make any difference even if it gets detected. AI content still ranks on google, and everyone knows it.

Why are sites getting approved by Adsense even though the content has been written by AI? They are getting reviewed manually. Right?

You basically need to understand how these tools work and the best example would be to look at Open AI's playground tool. If you go there and generate something, increase the frequency penalty and other settings to max and you will bypass every detector but the content will be a disaster.

AI or no AI, what matters is "Plagiarism." If everyone is using the same date/information, it will eventually generate the same article and that would be a problem.
Yes, a recent pattern I have noticed is ChatGPT tends to make content that are too sensational. Like sometimes it helps but not every content needs to be a tabloid headline. But GrammarlyGo and SEMrush writing assistant have a balanced output which are usable 80% of the times

i'm not exactly sure about this model, but the detectors i have used have varied wildly in quality; sometimes they will detect correctly, sometimes they wont. if you even change a few words around your results might look different.
Same like plagiarism checker

I think they are not effective.

Your writer is using AI... Cooyleaks is even weak... Use zerogpt.com all AI content is caught.

There are many shortcomings in these tools & software not even entirely accurate.

I tested several articles, all handmade, from a lifetime ago before AI existed. They were all articles written by journalists for major organizations, consultants, political staff and some of my own personal stuff. Many were flagged.

The only thing I can guess at (until one of these platforms state how detection occurs, which probably won't happen) AI was trained on published / publicly available content (probably some restricted content as well that it probably can't say it was trained on) and if the writing style closely resembles that, then the content may be falsely flagged. If you guys ever read business articles from major news sources, white papers, academic papers.... hell, even MBB or Big Four stuff, they all pretty much have a very similar tone and style.

There are footprints that AI content does leave behind (some very obvious), so sometimes that's what's being caught. There's also certain writing styles / phrases that seems to be more prone to being flagged as well. I don't test often enough to make an accurate assessment, and honestly, don't care too much so take with a grain of salt. Unless there's a huge shift in search results, and while actual handwritten content gets falsely flagged, it's going to be hard to disseminate what's truly AI or not. More so, a lot large corporations have already started using AI as well - so where does the line get drawn? OK for the big guys to do, but not smaller sites?

Yo, that's cool how do they do that?

That's Right! You go to Jasper or any other AI tool, even Surfer Ai; they all claim famous sites and brands are using their tools and it's a fact.

These GPT detectors, I believe are just relying on GPT 4 to detect stuff. I mean, look who can actually detect content written by GPT 4?

Just get an output from GPT 4 and try to ask GPT 4 whether is written by AI or not. It's a simple thing.

As an article provider, a couple months ago my client also complained the same thing. He told me that most of articles from us are AI detected and I said we never use AI or any rewriting tools.
He used a premium AI detector tool, I forget the name. It is such annoying to me.
Since that, I only use two AI detectors from copyleaks and crossplag and the clients will never be allowed to check with another AI detectors because each tools show the different result. It might depend on different used algorithm and data sets.

There's no such thing as an AI content detector.

I have used it but it has not shown accurate results, so, in my opinion, it's not worth it.

Hi,

Anyone using this tool: https://copyleaks.com/ai-content-detector Does it give a real result?

Yesterday, one of my clients told me that our content was AI-detected. I also checked on the same day, and it showed me the same error.

Today! We wrote another piece of content, and it again shows the same error: "AI content detected." When I checked my old content again, it said "This is human text". I was caught between the client and the writer.

Valuable input about this tool is welcome.

It is sad that clients reject content when detected as AI by inaccurate tools , but it is the truth of the industry.

That being said, I do consider copyleaks as more accurate than the others. It is not perfect though, and will definitely show even human written content as AI. We have tested more than 100 articles on it.

Try zerogpt.com for Ai detector.

copyleaks is not 100% accurate, most of the articles that I wrote by myself is AI declared on this.:(
