Ok - Looking at Dan's statements, how about everyone with a crash situation, or a delete site situation, email me so i can fix the bugs. At least let me do that for you before I release another version, otherwise, what is the point?

Yeah it's a shame. I'm almost certain it's a directory change, as in the process for submission is slightly different or has been changed but they haven't updated it. It should yield a ****load more submits than the 6k I get. AMR even recognizes something like 100k of my scrapes as valid platforms.

Edit: Just saw Mr. AMR been posting! Glad to hear the submission is changing, because your other patches fixed the crashing but I refuse to believe the low submit rates after high sign up numbers is just down to sites dying or being mismanaged! It seems to be like the CMSes have been changing and AMR hasn't caught up.

Hey Vince,

I understand your reasons for ceasing to update the public site list. However I'm of the opinion that users should have at least a working site list to submit articles to, mainly because many have no idea how to scrape and import. Users can then do the scrape and import when they get the hang of it. Even without a public site list, there should be an easy way for them to scrape article directories. But thanks for your suggestion, will keep them in mind.

What you say is partially true - A CMS like WP most likely won't change their submit forms, and if they do, the owners, won't update. I currently have 5 WP submission attempts. However, I have found some new captchas in some platforms that haven't been reported for, thus resulting in fails. Naturally, these have been accounted for. Users only report number (signups vs fails vs whatever) so there is no useful data in that. It takes hardcore data diving to dig into what the real cause of issues are. The only application I have seen that actually stores HTML data is AMR (I own competitor software) and it's rare that users actually take the time to review the html results.

Your public site list is useless. I've tested it. I have a much better way to incorporate user implementation of sites, and trust me, you'll be copying me.. yet again (remember that email I sent you about changing your tool names to something else? Yes, the tools that you copied from AMR?, Yep, past predicts the future).

Oh wait. Since I have your software and you provide site lists, how about I just grab it and provide it to my customers? HAHAH what do you think about that? Together we can render your site list useless!

So many noobs... always throwing dirt at the tool instead of improving their skills. Yes, AMR is buggy, it hangs, it crashes, it gives you cancer and AIDS but at the end of the day it is a tool and it does what it is supposed to do. All of you whining about it crashing and being buddy never had to build an automation tool like it. If you would have done so you'd know how hard it is to even make it work decently. Dont get me wrong, from my perspective all commercial tools are shit, but that's because of how I am and my own methodology. A tool I find great 99.99% of the people would not be able to run. Stop whining and go scrape good lists. If your list is the same most are using then obviously your results are crap. AMR could be better but the bottom line is for the price you pay for it it is quite decent. You don't like it? Then go and build your own tool or do manual submissions. I payed for AMR and only used it 2 times but you won't hear me complain. I bought it to test the operation of my own custom built tools, basically to double-test my tools with it to make sure my tools work at least as good. That being said, while my tools are better than AMR for me personally, 99.99% of you would not even know how to execute the submission process. Stop complaining about tools (any tools) being bad. Most have a trial. You don't like them ask for a refund. They stop being as effective after 1-2 years? Well, duh! That happens with anything from tools to techniques. Move along and find something better. It is not AMR or ScrapeBox or Xrumer that is shit, it is you who don't know how to use them and think out of the box. You just follow the pack and then complain. I wonder how many of you scraped 24/7 for an entire week before whining...

So now we are faced with importing new site lists, or relying on vendors to supply site lists. The way i see it, if a vendor supplies a site list, it WILL die. That is a tried and tested experience. The only solution is making people work a little harder to scape and import to separate the masses. Make that function easy, and the software will win. That's where innovation and ingenuity comes in to play. And then the rest will copy.

Man, what a heated debate in this thread. The only time I used AMR was when I had a VPS with BHS and I used my own custom list of sites -- didn't get too many AA links but when checked a week or two later, I had about 300-400 live links (can't remember exactly). The power is in the list, but due to the penguin update hitting these article directory platforms, not a lot of new article directories are being created. If only people stop trying to spam these article directories with shit spun content and actually take the time to make the content human readable, they'd stay alive a little bit longer. @Sniper, I look forward to the next version of AMR and will probably purchase it once you release it.

I would buy it now but recently my Scrapebox has been having issues with proxies for some reason -- it states they are Google pass when really they are all 302 IP blocked; check again, still Google pass yet still 302 IP blocked. "Apparently" Scrapebox developers are working on an update but I don't know when that will be released. Until than, AMR would be kind of useless to me because I wouldn't have a decent list to use it with. Anyways, Sniper seems like a stand up guy willing to help out everyone in this thread, that looks like an extremely good developer to me and the tool itself is just amazing so wait a go! Look forward to v2.0!

Mado... you're not saying XR is shit are you? How could anyone come to that conclusion? Also, you say scrape your own list... well with AMR in it's current form it's doesn't matter how much you scrape. Honestly I put 800k sites through it and got 550 successes (AA, didn't check later for manual approve). And yes, I know how to use footprints and sieves.

Sniper says it could be new captchas, well if you use captcha sniper and the deconstruction kit, then that will maybe improve results. I'll try it, see if I can't get more than 550 AAs.

I get what you're saying about custom tools, I just spent in excess of $25k having something coded to my specs, but for most people starting out they do need to see some sort of return in order to stay motivated. Unless you're a nut case like me and want to go a whole year working your ass off for $100 per week, lol.

The AF platform introduced some anti-spam mechanism that sort of needed them, but then there were only a hand fulll to deal with - it's not very populare (it's a paid script). Proxies were only brought on by user demand, and I see no use for them in the article marketing sphere. No user has ever reported a IP/spam complaint to me because of there IP. EVER. And I have a shitload of users. I have never been a proponent of proxies in the article marketing sphere, and I've installed a lot of AM platforms for testing purposes, and none of them (the public ones) don't have any IP banning mechanism. naturally, technologies change, so don't quote me on that lol. EG does your default wordpress script have any sort of IP banning mechanism?

@team - its not just the new captchas, its captchas that I, as a programmer, havent been exposed to, so therefore, haven't integrated into the app.I wouild say that 1107 AMR currently hits about 17 captchas, but now probably up to 24 in the next release.

Sniper. I wish you could do a thorough re-think of AMR, take your time and make it work. You probably know the general perception on what AMR has become. Why don't you sort out the general site list so that one should atleast 400-500 live links from there. Also, go to the root of problems and fix them captch probs or whatever prob that is.

You have banked big with AMR. But, now you are letting the customers down. It won't affect you in any way financially, but the software will tank totally and also you will get a bad rep for not updating which may come back to haunt you when you try to release a new software.

It may not seem worth it to put in a lot of effort for complete update of AMR but trust me it will be worth it.Dont take it the wrong way, its just advice.So, no hard feelings. Cheers

Oblivion - It's so much more complicated than that, however, I am in the works of revamping the submit algo's. BUT BUT!! You need to understand the current state of article directories and the people that want to host them. The reality is that since AD's don't rank as well as they used to, there is not as much profit on owning one. Most WP, Dashboard, Friendly, ETC, sites, used to have some sort of monetization to them, being adsense or whatever, but since they no longer rank(thank you panda), anyone who used to host those types of sites have moved on. AMR still does what it does. Signup, confirm, submit. That's it. However, you get fiverr gigs involved, super spammers, and anyone who isn't a mom-pop website owner involved submitting content that includes viagara, pills, penis, etc, and well... what do you want? the owner will say F THIS!

I hear you. You want better. But when it comes to AD sites, how many are left? and then how many are actually indexed. So from an AMR standpoint where it stands, be able to submit ot the currently indexed and scrapeable sites, YES. Makes sense. But from a business model aspect, where do I draw the line.. Give current users something new, yet force a paid upgrade to additional platformes.... and then you can look at article demon, or ultimate.. and I have many new scripts in place... and that took a lot of my time... so i need to draw the line somewhere. Anyways, yes, updates in the works.

A note to the competition. Don't give away the farm. At least not for forty bucks.

I think you misunderstood. I meant that my Google pass proxies aren't working in Scrapebox so I am unable to scrape together a list of article directories to import into AMR. Once my Scrapebox starts working again properly like it used to, I'd be more than happy to pay for AMR. Until than, since the built in-list has no success rate, I'll wait until the new version comes out; or at least until Scrapebox releases some sort of update.

Also, doesn't AMR have support to use third party CAPTCHA services? Is that going to integrated in the upcoming version?

For one, proxies aren't much of an issue with article marketing, and next, you can access captcha items in tools-captcha,

That's your lists fault, and the fact that 80% of article sites now require manual approval of submissions after the Panda cull in 2011.
My article sites have auto check with copyscape. LESS THAN 88% UNIQUE GETS BINNED. So "But my content is 60% or 75% copyscape" no dice. Deleted
Here's my list, and this is pretty common;

• Copyscape less than 88% DELETED
• More than one link DELETED
• Link in first 50% of text DELETED
• No category or wrong category selected DELETED
• Link to bad list site (auto checks about 220 million banned sites that I won't accept links to) DELETED
• Article contains profanity DELETED
• Article title not in title format DELETED
• Double spacing or no paragraphs DELETED
• More than 2 articles with links to to same domain a day DELETED
• Any spintax in article DELETED
• Article under 500 words DELETED
• Article over 1200 words DELETED
• Use of restricted HTML in article DELETED (everything other than bold, italics, underline and anchor text tags)
• Auithor profile uses email from domain that has previously had an author banned or more than 3 submissions rejected DELETED
• More than 2% of text not recognised by English dictionary scan DELETED
• Any word or phrase repeated to more than 5% of total text DELETED (this is THE most common reason articles are rejected or deleted, people have not got a frikkiing clue about keyword density and no article site owner want to get slapped by Penguin for over optimization - keyword stuffing)
• Yahoo, Bing or Google (Gmail) account used for email HELD FOR HUMAN MODERATION (includes re-doing plagirism check 10 days later - by which time it will probably fail)

The initial checks are all carried out automatically. As you can see well over 99% of submissions are deleted without ever being seen by a human eye
Everything else is held for personal moderation.

My main article site is PR5. I receive over 1000 articles a day - every day. Of which (for example) 995 of them (no exaggeration) are deleted automatically. Once a week or once a fortnight I log in and look at the 30 or 40 that made it through and delete maybe 50% of those.
So there is about a 0.2% chance (NOUGHT POINT TWO PER CENT) that your article will get published, and even then it will be a 7 to 14 day wait.

I know FOR A FACT... from this first hand experience of moderating the shit that 99.8% of you put out. The unreadable overspun, unformatted, badly spelt, keyword stuffed CRAP that most people propagate. I make no bones and no apologies about this - it's "home truths" time.
Most of you distribute COMPLETE AND UTTER SHIT that.. No site that wanted to keep it's rep would ever even consider publishing.

Not trying to rag on anyone, and I know some low PR and low traffic sites have far lower criteria (which I guess is why they are lower traffic and lower PR...who'd have thought eh? shocking!)

This is the truth of GOOD sites that are soliciting for content now. If you want to post on GOOD sites with high pr, good rep, low Alexa and high traffic, then change your ways (unless your already in the 0.2 percentile of course - it's the other 99.8% I'm talkin to here - I know YOU'D never post rubbish then QQ when webmasters didn't publish it..would you?)

It is an excellent tool to keep as a secondary option. But you still need to have option Back link methods as well, a lot of the directories used will take a long time before they get indexed and that way be counted as a back link.
