Anyone Still Using AMR?

I stopped using AMR because it is a POS and bugs out almost every run. I got my outsourcers on it for some testing purposes but I can't get a decent auto approve list at all.

Anyone getting more than 50 live links per blast? I use to get about 300-450 now I can barely get 50. I don't really need to use AMR but thought I would give it a try but after messing with it for a few days I think this program is going down the drain.

Scrape new targets. Sure I had to go through 800,000 results to get 550 autoapprove sites. But hrefer makes that easy. 550 is enough to do damage, so long as you don't just spam the same crappy spin article out to everything.

I used to have 40K article sites and about 20K of them went dead (404 errors, website unavailable, .etc) after Penguin's dick-slap came. Then another 16K started disabling registrations or stopped accepting new articles. Now I barely have 4K article sites.

And only 600 submits and about 200 or so livelinks.

But like the previous post said, just a small amount of blast can affect your site. Low-quality article directories are pretty much dead perhaps.

This is nuts. I guess it is back to paying for high quality articles and submitting manually to known article sites (EzineArticles, .etc)

That's not a bad ratio though. 600 submits, 200 livelinks. I get 6k submits, and only 550 livelinks. Although having said that I don't go back and check back later, so maybe more of them are approved manually afterwards... probably not many though.

Well, I just use AMR for my 3rd and fourth tiers but I scraped over 100k. Gathered about 200k all together and could not even get 100 live links. Manually submitting to article directories is clearly out of question for me.

I just did a fresh scrape last night/today. I harvested 80k using all the footprints I could find (obviously I don't have the same footprints you guys have). My final livelink count is 57. However, of those 57, 20 or so are of pretty good PR.

I would be very interested in bartering with you guys for something or other to get my hands on one of your big livelink lists.

Article kevo is so much better right now, I can get nearly 200 live links with their default list and they have a built in scraper that works awesome. AMR was just buggy as shit.

AMR and Article Directories aren't as effective anymore. I'm not saying completely ignore them but don't worry about them if you can't get AMR to work. Better work on your Web 2.0s now like Squidoo or Weebly as these are the new "article directories" for this year.

SpinRewriter have an article distribution service too but I haven't tried it so I'm not sure how effective it is.

Might be worth trying for a quick link boost.

Worst part is, the developers of AMR aren't doing anything to update their software.
If this goes on, it will end up worthless.

It has been updated but the platforms it targets have been hit bad by algos so I suspect the dev is maybe spending time on building something else.

We'll see how opinions change in the near future. For me Kevo won't complete a test submit, and rather than crash, just doesn't do anything. AMR is up for an update with completely re-vamped databasing and submitting. Dan, we used to email each other, now you just trash talk on public forums.

Also, keep in mind, it's not AMR, but also AD, AKV, and any other software that submits to the same script types. Really, do you think that a publically supplied site list will last, especially on mass scale? Jackson, I speak to you, you are going to kill your advantage before you know it. There are reason I closed down public site list submissions, and forced people into scrape and import. You will gain a slight advantage, but in the end, your app will get trashed just like the rest. Leave the importing to the users. It's much better off in the long run.

I don't think I am talking trash. I just got fed up with crashes. Spending hours getting a list than submitting and having AMR delete every directory to start over. Did that to me a few times. And yes, you helped me out a lot.. Thanks for that.

But talking trash on a public forum? I don't think I am the only one relaying this message and sorry you feel that this is trash talking.

Take a look what others are saying. If you have something better than show us and I will be glad to return my statement. Because right now I am going to say that AMR is buggy as shit, which it has always been buggy but it did a good job at what it did.

Yeah google has always been slapping article directories. Just don't build them to your $ site. AMR does or did a great job at boosting up my 2nd and 3rd tiers. Article directories still work for boosting your quality tiers

I own AMR & does crash a lot. I am a big believer in it though cause it helped me out quite a bit. When can we expect this update? Near future is a very relative and loose term.

Ok I chimed in just because of the trash talk, but the update is in progress, and this is not a sales thread, so I won't make any promises. I have a lot of new stuff already implmeneted and tested and I want to do more stuff but probably have to hold off since I really want to push this update. If you are an owner of AMR contact me for some sort of update details as putting it here is just not gonna happen. I don't have a BST in BHW and i need to respect the rules.
