I keep hearing mixed opinions. Some say Pinterest is dead unless you’re in food/fashion niches, and other like Tumblr barely comes up in conversations anymore. But I also see some people pulling 50k+ monthly visits with the right strategy. Is there a working method in 2025 to get consistent traffic from Pinterest?

I'm still getting traffic from Pinterest, even on websites/accounts that I abandoned for over a year.

What matters if your niche is huge on Pinterest and if you're going after the keywords that can realistically drive traffic. Niche and Keyword are the reason many people fail.

All popular niches on Pinterest. Research for niches that are huge on Pinterest, then focus on keywords that allows text-over-image pins to rank. That way you're targeting a good niche and a good keyword that can realistically drive traffic.

Pinterest isn’t dead it’s just more about quality and SEO now. Focus on niches where visuals matter, optimize pins with strong keywords, and be consistent. Treat it like a search engine, not social media. That’s how people still get steady traffic.

It's a tedious process that needs solid commitment dude. As long as you're consistent and post pins regularly, the traffic just comes - of course you have to use keywords that people actually search for. And I don't think you have to be in the food/fashion niches at all. There are plenty of other niches that can garner lots of views. I'm in the fitness industry and I ran my account consistently for about 3 months and got up to over 500k views a month. That's dwindled down to just over 100k now because i have been lazy and not as consistent. Definitely possible though!

yep Pinterest still brings me steady traffic. what i changed: i use keyword-rich pins (not just pretty pics), posting 2-3 new ones/week, linking to landing page instead of blog post so conversions up. if you haven’t tried in a while, test small and see what your cost per click and conversion looks like now.
