Anyone Seeing High CPMs on Facebook Lately?

I’ve noticed that too! Try broadening your audience or testing new ad formats—it can sometimes help bring those CPMs down.

i also have high CPM, but i don't know if your product is the same as mine but i did this, i see my CPM decrease
- i try new account
- expand or refresh audience file.
- edit campaign again with different content

Hello everyone, despite the fact that my targeting and creatives haven't changed much, I've observed that my CPMs have increased recently. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just my niche? Any advice on how to lower it?
Entering the end of the year, the CPM indexes suddenly increased compared to before, me too,
You can try to set bids on the campaigns, keep the budget stable and do not turn the camp on and off continuously when you see the indexes are not as expected, keep the camps active for a few days I see the CPM seems to be better.
I tried that and got better results.

Yeah, I’ve noticed CPMs creeping up lately too it’s not just you. It usually happens around this time of year as competition increases (especially leading into the holidays). Even if your targeting and creatives stay the same, more advertisers bidding in your niche can drive up costs.

Yes, CPM spikes are common due to seasonal competition and algorithm shifts. Try refreshing creatives, tightening audience segments, or testing lower-competition time slots to bring costs down.

Bro , The objective and creative content doesn't change much , that's the reason , change it to CPM , get optimized

We work with the UK, and our CPM has also increased by one and a half times, it helped us that we reduced the campaign budget, and just did more campaigns, the CPM decreased a little.

Try narrowing your audience a bit or testing different placements. Sometimes manual placement helps.

I have quite a few customers, some of them are running well, some others have increased costs as you mentioned so high or low cpr now depends on the type of product you launch but also depends on how the campaign is set up. In general, recently fb has stabilized again so we can expand spending more easily

Try refreshing your creatives or ad copy Facebook often increases CPMs when ads start losing engagement. A small creative tweak can help reset performance.

Many people also shared with me the same thing, that they are also having a headache when CPM is increasing. We all see that fb is constantly updating and making it difficult for us, so we also have to constantly change the ad model to refresh the customer file.

An increase in CPMs often reflects higher market competition so refining audience segmentation and periodically updating creatives can help optimize ad efficiency

Same here. CPMs are up lately — probably seasonal. Try adjusting bid caps or refreshing ad creatives; that’s helped me bring them down a bit.

Reduce CPM by refreshing creatives regularly, expanding your target (broader), increasing engagement within 24 hours, and avoiding high bidding hours. Facebook rewards those who “feed the algorithm” properly, not those who complain about high prices.

I appreciate the tip. I haven't tried replicating the same campaign in a long time, but I'll give it a shot. When you did it, did you immediately observe a decline in CPMs, or did it take a few days for it to stabilize?
did it work? i'm facing the same issue on best days my cpm in 68 on the worst it's 130+ i'm running a lead campaign

CPM spikes are common right now. Here's why + fixes:

Why CPMs are up:

  • Q4 hangover (competition still elevated)
  • Your audience fatigued (same creatives = higher CPM)
  • Platform changes (Meta/TikTok always tweaking)
  • Your niche might be saturated

Quick fixes:

  1. Refresh creatives ASAP
    • Even small changes help (new hook, different thumbnail)
    • Platform punishes repeated creative exposure
  2. Audience expansion
    • Broaden targeting 10-20%
    • Test lookalikes if not already
    • Cold traffic often cheaper than warm now
  3. Ad scheduling
    • Pause during peak hours (12pm-8pm usually highest)
    • Run overnight/early morning for lower CPM
  4. Campaign structure
    • Kill underperforming ad sets faster
    • Consolidate budgets (Facebook rewards fewer, bigger campaigns)
  5. Platform diversification
    • Test TikTok if on Meta (often 40-60% cheaper CPM)
    • Google Performance Max as backup

What's your niche + platform? Finance/crypto = always expensive. E-comm = seasonal. That context matters for specific advice.

Also - what's your current CPM vs baseline? Sometimes 20-30% increase is just cost of doing business.
hey so i'm running a lead campaign for my agency and the cpm kept getting higher from 60to 90 and now at 110 do you think the scheduling thing is good because that way we will be losing a lot potential customers
