anyone saw major changes on G today?

many of my sites position changed today, many of them went down... some went up few positions....

saw same effact on other sites too (not only mine).

anyone have any idea what happened?

no no... it's not google dance... i have about 100 sites that changed position... there was some change in G today for sure.

i saw also on WH right now someone is talking about the same thing on google UK.
 
Yeah something did indeed happen. I too lost a bunch of good rankings.
 
Here as well, after some month of latency....Only good things until now!
 
Well one site went up one rank, and that's all I see. Woohoo.
Oh, wait! One site went from 121 to 74. Oh yeah, now we're kickin' some ass.

I have my 100 sub domains which were ranking at first page for their target keywords went no where in google rankings but they not still indexed.
 
i dropped also today but i think its google dance. (builded a lot backlinks and indexing them so all normal :) )
 
Yeah, I've had some client sites drop in ranking over the past few days, but noticed a sharp decrease across the board this morning.
 
I am seeing normal google dance stuff, some up some down, hope its nothing major, always a pain when they do something drastic and we have to adapt. I mean who the hell do they think they are, don't they know some of us are working really hard to pay the dog food bills!
 
I completely dropped off of google for all of my rating yesterday, and then came back late last night on one sight. not too sure what was going on but I panicked!
 
What kind of linkbuilding you guys use mostly:
profiles
bookmark
web 2.0 sites
high pr blog comment / direkt links

thats what i used on the site witch in google dance.
 
Yeh G has been acting a bit weird recently. I've seen about 20 domains going crazy in rankings.
 
this happened to me too...

my 2nd and 3rd keyword which on page 3 and 5, dissapear...
 
Seems like BIG G changed their code, many of site position change to the negative side.
 
My main site dropped by around 10 - 20 positions for a few of it's main keywords today. Not great (It was previously on page 1 & 2 for them).
 
I also lost some good rankings, but this happened in mid to late january already

that is when google announced algorithm changes in order to fight off spam more effectively

so idk, but that may have something to do with it

I use

profiles, bookmarks, blog commenting on high pr and autoapprove.

I just recently got starteed looking into web2.0 but havent had a chance to do anything.
