It's been years since I've played. Started when it came out, maxed out a bunch of toons on a few different US realms. Lothar was my main realm. Every once in a while I log back in during a free trial or the limited play mode to throw a few fireballs around.
Left it for Neverwinter Nights and Star Trek Online.

You know what, It is actually fun. The start is pretty slow, but theres just so much variation. You pick your own race + Class, for example, I picked a human warrior, i could of picked human mage or an orc shaman or orc priest ect.. each race has its unique benefits, and each class has its unique benefits.
Warrior is the best class to play, but its so slow to level up. If you get lvl 60 warrior, everyone you see in game will want to play with you because their so powerful. You can also make lots of money in game by mastering different skills and trading on auction house then selling the gold online to other players for real money.
Not to mention the community, its so strong. Within 30 minutes you will already be friends with people, I guarentee it. Once lvl 60, you will have literally dozens of dedicated friends.

It is the biggest game in history IMO. And they brought it back alive. It only came out 2-3 days ago, so nows your time to play if you want to start learning

Play now dude, only officially released few days ago, players are swarming in, Blizzard are creating different servers like no tomorrow, think about 5+ got created today just to try and handle the insane increase in players. Blizzard are literally struggling to contain the influx at the moment.

People calling in sick at work just to play it... and yeah I got invited into a guild within the first 5 minutes! All super friendly. I think everyones in an amazing mood because they brought classic back. If your ever going to play it then nows the time! and ahah yeah that would be cool

I'll consider it... although I do love flying around. LOL Was a giant time sink for me back in the day but will give it some serious thought. I did enjoy Classic WoW. Wonder if my add-ons like Auctioneer and Gatherer still work... I made bank with those. 5 toons, all miners and skinners. I had a guild with people I worked with back when it came out, I was always having to send their broke asses money for their armor or weapon crafting skills. LOL.

Thanks! Now I'm seriously jones'in for this game. Already installed it. Not looking forward to running ALL OVER CREATION until level 40 for the horse, but oh well. Now just have to wait until the work on my house is done for the day.

Haha no probs dude. You wont regret it. Been questing with randomers all day everyone so friendly and servers are so packed. Tons to do atm.

Ok, I joined. Had to feed the "WarCrack" addiction. I've spent the last day and a half on Myzrael server leveling my healer. Forgot how much I loved the classic world. The group chat... there is nothing like it! Found a good guild too. Great PUGs too for quests. Very helpful. People handing out free quest items and such. Really cool to see. I finally have some decent silver... that I'm sure to blow training my healer next time I get to Stormwind.
