Yes, that sounds a lot like what I've been observing. Despite regular uploads and promotion, views and engagement appear to be lower than normal lately. It could be transitory changes in viewer behavior or some recent modifications to the algorithm. I hope that soon everything will be in equilibrium

What niche your content belongs to? Some niches are seasonal like people search for those topics in some parts of the year only.
How much drop in views have you approved ? If there is small drop, you may neglect it. However, if the drop is large, it might be because of reasons like penalty from YouTube.
