I think it’s tied to the recent Reddit–Google data deal, they’re boosting it hard in SERPs.

reddit is getting alot of benefits from google, allowing google to scrape the site with its AI, in return they get some detection tools against botting and AI usage themselves. and its offset the costs of running reddit itself.
 
Reddit posts seem to get indexed super fast lately, probably because of the high domain authority.
 
Google will keep pushing reddit so that they can scrape user generated data. We can safely use reddit as a parasite or an alternative traffic source.
