It is by definition to have a net worth of at least 1 million USD. if you have 2 million USD or more you are considered a multi-millionair. I hope that helps

That is not true. You don't need to make 1 million in net profit. You are considered a millionair if you have a net worth of at least 1 million. If for example the founders of Google don't make any profits the whole year, they would still be considered billionairs, if we assume, they have waisted all their assets, stocks (wealth). The same goes for millionairs. As long as you have a net worth of 1 million (for exmaple USD), you are considered a millionair, regardless of how much annual net profit you make.
