Anyone making bank with Amazon products?

How do you cloak your links If you are using PPC?

I'm currently making between $7000 - $15000 a month with Amazon.

Great thing about Amazon sites is I'm able to add adsense on them which gives me bonus earnings. Amazon is also expanding quite rapidly and soon will take over Walmart so I recommend you getting started now!

I've got a few questions that I hope you're kind enough to answer for me.

1) How many money sites is that over?

2) How narrowly targetted are your sites? I.e. are they Electronics or TV & Home Theatre or Panasonic TVs or 40" Panasonic TVs? How deep down do you target I guess is what I mean.

3) For your money sites, do you do things like XRumer blasts etc?

4) Could I actually see one of your sites? I just want to see what a successful one looks like.

Cheers.

I currently only have 7 direct product money making sites for amazon, all ranked #1 for their specific keywords.

I make a lot of good conversions by doing products and video reviews, uploading it on YouTube and cloaking my link and adding it onto the description of my video.

I've made a TON of Squidoo lenses, mainly because they are easy to setup and they are easy to rank for. I can blast them to death and I always see an increase in rankings. That includes Xrumer/Senuke/AMR/Scrapebox blasts non-stop, and I see great results.

I'm thinking about creating more direct sites because some of my Squidoo lenses have lost their rankings within the last few Google updates, but then again I've stopped backlinking on a few of them.

Cheers

The maximum i made with Amazon was a 320$ no more. It wasn't easy though.

Translation:

"Hi! I'm a noob. Can I haz all ur cool stuff so I can profit off ur hard work! Can you plzzzzzz PM me ASAP all your info ???????"

I don't see how can I profit from someone's hard work just by watiching the site?

If you do, you must be millionaire, aren't you?

I just want to learn from the people here, so please if you don't have nothing good to say about this topic, don't make us waste our time reading you.

A lot of bogus or fake people in this forum actually. Most of the information are very old stuff that do not work anymore. A lot of the members are also trying to make money by selling link services. So unless you know what you are doing, you won't be able to differentiate the good information from the bad ones.

Really good information in this forum actually reaches page 2 very fast and receive no stars. Either the members are trying to bury it asap and protect it or a lot of people just don't recognize the value of it.

Thanks for the response. Just out of curiosity, when you say "7 direct product money making sites", do you mean you focused on 7 individual products, or 7 individual categories or niches?

I've been wondering if it makes more sense to go for something like an iPhone site or a smartphone site.

I have to say 7 "categories". Also I noticed if you want to get that extra % conversion rate, include widgets that amazon offers, carousels, and the amazon search box. Also get testimonials! Video testimonials on your Squidoo lenses will increase your click-conversion rate dramatically, and you can get a bunch of video testimonials on Fiverr.

Good luck!

I have used Reviewazon, wpAzon, shopperpress, amaniche and have 30 different websites..

NOTHING worked.. made about $4/day at my peak with all 30 websites. Added adsense and it got up to $6/day

dont know anyone (people, not companies) using review sites referring traffic to amazon making any decent money imo ...

If you were only making $6/day off of 30 sites after you converted them to adsense then they could not have been SEO'ed correctly. An amazon site is one thing, but a properly seo'ed and targeted adsense site can and will make more than $.20 a day on average. It's been proven again and again. If you still have these sites you should reanalyze your keywords/seo, you may be able to turn them around.

Amazon is very nice, but taking over Walmart? :flypig:

If you do your research they are the upcoming and leading competitor. Not Target, and I believe within 5 - 20 years, Amazon will be massive, our world is changing pretty fast not many people take the time to look around.

People may buy more than just the item you showed them // or something else completely.

This I have to agree - I set up a website reviewing mountain bikes from amazon last month, and so far I have sold 3 items - a sony bravia tv, a nokia phone and a cordless drill..

I also agree I had an auto blog on a sub-domain reviewing cell phones and ended up selling a GPS, 55' TV, and a $400.00 phone.

I was about to start promoting Amazon hard until they terminated all CA affiliates. Take advantage now.

Hey all

Where do I see what items sold? I only get stats on "tracking id" report. Other reports show zero stats.

Have been working to build an aStore and other Amazon stuff, but the way they cut off California affiliates makes me very uneasy about investing too much time in it. I saw a list of other states looking to impose an internet sales tax, and mine was unfortunately in it :(

Opinions?

Can you provide details on how you do this?

Also, what type of CPC are you paying to drive this traffic and what kind of returns do you see?

The reason I ask is if you make 7% commission at Amazon on a $100 product and have an 8% CTR to Amazon from your site with a 15% CTR at Amazon to buy, that comes out to:
.07*100*.08*.15 = 8.5 cents breakeven CPC.

Or do you run the CPC campaign directly to your affiliate product link? and how?

Amazon is a gold mine.. like i said...

What you need to do is run PPC traffic to the amazon site without them knowing its PPC..... then you will make bank..

it can be facebook ppc or adwords....

just make sure you hide where it comes from... because they do not want PPC traffic....

If you are just starting out with Amazon, the following should help you get started: Pick up the ebook, "Easy Paycheck Formula" by Sara Young. Find it by Googling, "easy paycheck formula blackhat". Yes, it's on a competitors site.

Granted, it was written before the Panda/Farmers update so you will have to adjust your SEO a little. It is a step by step guide. She shows you how to do market research and find a product that sells all year around.

Practice making your first site with blogger and maybe a product like kindle so you don't waste money. When you have learned the ropes, then spend a little money on domains, hosting, etc. and go for it. I would also weave in the tips given in this thread.

I'm giving up on this plan. I did extensive keyword research, found a great niche that converts well on amazon, set up the site, added 40+ unique articles that were 92-95% (2-4% keyword density) SEO'ed using seopressor, built a web 2.0 link pyramid and backlinked the hell out of it. It took almost a week to complete. After a month it gets about 150 visits/day and has had no sales at all. All my traffic is organic, but my bounce rate is still 95%.

I built a similar adsense site at the same time, did no keyword research at all, loaded it with decent (but used) PLR content just on a general niche, built a small (6 site) link pyramid and did half the backlinks. It took me less than a day to complete. After a month it gets 200 visits/day and it has a 2% CTR at an average $2/click and is looking even better this month.

Don't waste your time with amazon, my money is on adsense all the way.
