Anyone knows the method to rank without backlinks?

If it is a very low competition keyword, then it is possible. On the other hand, low competition keywords are not bringing such a huge income. So, my opinion is that this guy is not telling (all) the truth.

He says he has 10 multi niche sites with 300 posts on each all on the same general niche (finances,health etc) but targetting different keywords

If he is making that money , he has a great method - probably 301 redirects, or something like hijacking sites to give him hidden backlinks.

of course if he is making that money, he isn't going to want you or anyone else knowing his method, so he is bound to make something up to tell you so you stop asking.

These days on-page optimization is very important factor.

Google has clearly said that you produce content only and we will decide ranking...

Keep creating great content and updating your site with fresh articles and traffic will increase as you start to pick up long tail keywords. Also use social media. I think this approach is much better than link building. Concentrate on content and long tail keywords rather than 1 or 2 main keywords!

Some people just love attention, ranking without links is possible but if you want to make any money you will probably need links to move up the serps. So i kind of think that he could just be lying.

But then again you never know and now that I think of it people do have custom software developed for them that gets them traffic with ninja techniques. Like i saw a guy using ppv networks + plus some custom software and he was killing it.

It could or could not be true.

I dont know if you guys try to do not ppl think, because you say same shit all the time or you are just out of your brain these day. There is simple method but you need invest 20-30% (maybe less) and you can get what he declare. Can I get info of this guy? let me check if he do what I think.

Even if you check his site with like ahrefs he could have links hidden. It is possible to cloak links and that would be a
smart move if he was using his own private blog network or something. In my opinion he is just paying a lot for a private
network. There are no secret ways to rank without links.

correct me if i'm wrong but 1 year ago if someone told you he can rank a video in youtube in under 24 hours with no backlinks at all and just a couple of views you'd say he's bullshitting, no?

Zero link building nearly always involves....link building.

With the greatest respect for the guys in the business who claim to do it - if you actually follow their procedures, you'll see that links are involved.
A smaller number - far more targeted, often on social media sites etc.. but they are links just the same.

A Youtube video with a link in the description? That's a link.
A legitimate comment on a forum or blog that points back to a tutorial you've done? That's a link
Being a regular on forums like this and having a signature that points back to your site? That's a link

and other examples. Nearly all ending with links.

Ok - after a year you might have 250 rather than 5000 - but they are still links. Good ones at that.

But the main reason they call it this is because SEO is not the main aim.
Ranking is not even the main aim

It's traffic generation.

My Golf site gets around 45% of it's traffic from Google. However less than 20% of the sales come from Google traffic. Return visitors, direct links from other authority sites in the niche, word of mouth.. whatever.
I haven't created a link for it since 2009. Not done one seconds SEO on it since 2011. Just added content.
Then it is a PR6 site. 16 years old with over 25,000 indexed pages and almost a million UV's a month. At that point it's self sustaining and you can almost claim to have a "link free SEO" method. But that is to deny the 10 years it took to get to that point.
