Ok so for the past month iv been having some really bad nosebleeds almost everyday and when i say bad i mean pouring blood not just dripping. Anyway it has really been bothering me and its kinda embarrassing because it can hit at anytime. For example this morning in my lecture my nose decided to fuck with me and started pouring and i had to leave the lecture.

Since it is winter, i have heard that keeping the inside of my nose moist, so i have been putting in petroleum jelly on the inside walls but it only helps a little.

Does anyone know how i can get rid of them once and for all??

    Cheers in advance

That seems to be a serious problem. Visit a doctor ASAP.

Could be high blood pressure, probably very high from what you've said. As above said, doctors. ASAP.

Eat some citrus fruit every day (the grand champion of nose bleed-battling gladiators) or take 500 mg of bioflavonoids twice a day. You may also search a list of fruits which have bioflavonoids. It strengthens blood vessels and stops recurring nosebleeding.

P.S. take note that it may be an allergic reaction (maybe to milk or wheat products) so visit a doctor and he may help identify the problem.

You can have something done at the hospital where they burn the inside of your nose to stop it bleeding.

It could be anything, but it's probably best to see a doctor.

Some people never get nose bleeds, others get them all the time.

I've only ever had one and that was from having my nose smashed in with a solid moving object.

You should go see an doctor, not asking a internet forum. It can be something serious. And if not the doctor can burn the inside of your nose, that will stop it.

It could be nothing, some people just have them. But going to a doctor is a must. They can put an end to this, they use something to cover up the part where bleeding starts and you should be nose bleed free

    Hey,

I had the same not long ago. Every day, atleast once (sometimes up to three times) a nosebleed. Also, it poured blood as I had a man period :D

However, it was solely because of stress. I tried to find out what triggers in my environment leaded to the noise bleed, and it was always correlated with stress/anger/fear. Since then, I started doing meditation with biofeedback and I don't get any nosebleeds anymore. Also, a nice side-effect... I'm 99,99% of the time happy, even when something happened that would make me very unhappy.

    warm regards,
    neo

I have the same problem for years bro. I remember once my nose started to bleed real strong while I was with the chick. I was high and did not give a damn at first, so in the end it looked like horror - porno movie scene. Anyway, I'm also looking to get rid of this inconvenience

I think you should visit a doctor. It may be nothing serious, but still.

I had the same problem when I was younger. My family doctor ended up sending me to a specialist at the hospital to get a nose cauterization. I haven't had a nosebleed since.

I'm getting nosebleeds from time to time too, every time from the same nostril. It's blood pressure combined with weak or damaged capillaries in you nose. I had my nose broken once a fifteen years ago, and got blood vessels damaged.

Bleedings are not dangerous per se, at least no more dangerous than high pressure without nose bleeds. You need to visit your doctor to check for pressure and buy yourself a portable blood pressure checker.. Also avoid hot and dry rooms, dry air provokes bleedings. Try to reduce stress. Don't drink much alcohol.

Well it used to happen when I was a kid and usually in summers. For me it was because of hot weather. As I grew up it didn't happened again.
