Anyone here selling his own products on Amazon?

Hey guys, there are very few topics on Amazon here and I wanted to start a discussion on Amazon product ranking and blackhat tacticts. We can start a group chat aswell for Amazon sellers only. PM me your skype name if you are interested. Currently I sell my own physical products there and I would love to discuss some ideas with other successful sellers.

I've seen a seller in a *very* profitable and competitive niche (diet) sign up to sell his product on amazon so he could SEO his own sales page on Amazon. If you're trying to push an Amazon page to the top, you won't have to work too hard, regardless of the competition

I m am sourcing 2 products right now. I am currently selling new liquidation iphone cases, but having gone through the ASM course and another one, I'm heading full steam with my own brand.

I would be interested in learning how hard I can backlink an Amazon page. I've heard that you can hit them pretty hard since they have such a huge diversification in links already, but i'd be curious to get people's opinions.

I have 1000 products selling on Amazon. Currently importing direct from China for 10 products, and packaging and shipping them myself, and dropshipping from the UK for the rest.

Since it's unlikely that amazon will be de-indexed, I'd suggest going hard! Forget crappy spam in its thousands, you're better off going to Tommy here on BHW with his Speed Rank reloaded. I know he can rank an amazon page

Since as you said there is not much Amazon discussion on the boards it would be a perfect opportunity to
keep the discussion here for everyone to see instead of making another Skype group.

I was a Pro Merchant for years, in the jewelry category which is by invitation only. I know selling on Amazon inside and out, and was privy to many of their secrets because I have the gift of gab and had long conversations with seller support. My advice is to run far, far away from Amazon because it's like making a deal with the devil.

For every 1 person I hear saying run from Amazon, I also hear 10 saying how much they love it. I've been doing ok for the last 2 months selling different items and I know plenty of people that are making $10k+ just sourcing closeout items and sending them to FBA.

If you have specific issues with Amazon, then say them, because "Run far away from Amazon..." doesn't help anyone. You have something we should be concerned about, lay them out.

It makes me sound like a broken record. I've posted about them a million times.

Does anyone know how to make product reviews stick? I got scammed by at least 2 people on this forum that claimed their reviews won't get deleted, but eventually amazon removed them..

I am selling on amazon for over 2 years now, I have made a killing selling on Amazon. But I agree selling on amazon is like partner with the devil. It is a company you should stay away from. They are doing Black Hat more then anyone in the world. Just a small sample of what I recently had, I was branding and selling a weight loss supplement, the supplement is pretty popular and there are hundreds of the same product selling on amazon. I got an E-mail from amazon,

This was a not shocking for me, as I already have the experience with them, that they do whatever they want for no good reason, just if you are making more money then they want you to make. This item was never even close to cancer never claimed or mentioned anything about cancer. They just do whatever and whenever they want. Now keep your breath, I am not finish yet. This was my reply to them.

This is in regards to the e-mail I received, blocking Asin "____________". The reason stated is that this claims to cure cancer and must therefore be removed. I am clueless as to where you have found this information and I would appreciate if you can provide me with more information as to where exactly this is stated.

If you look closely you can see that the person who wrote the E-mail does not even know what I am writing about "Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account may not be answered." My account was never closed.
Anyway I have had much more and painful stories with this devil, if you know what good for you try first Ebay Google shopping SEO you own site and there are much more out there. There is no chance amazon should continue to long sellers are getting more and more sick and tired dealing with them.
Trust me they are indeed doing a lot of crazy (as well as illegal) stuff, but they are powerful and that is why they will end up failing.

In regards to product reviews, it does not matter if it is true or fake if they decide that you are making to much money they will do whatever they can to stop you.

I you can manage the logistics part yourself, and fulfill orders as required by Amazon, it's a great source of sales

There is many factors that may matter,
A) depends if you have your own brand or just selling branded stuff,
B) Depends if you are ready to put in the effort that is required to be successful on amazon.

Remember amazon is the king in retail, and it might be very profitable it might just take a lot of time and effort to get to the point of getting the most out of it.
But remember, DO NOT NEGLECT ANY OTHER CHANNEL BECAUSE OF AMAZON, IT MIGHT HAVE A BAD AND.

I have my own branded items on Amazon. I'm very much interested how I can get my products to rank higher on the first 20 pages.

It is good idea to explore about amazon.If some body has product make a website about that product and rank using blackhat tactis and keep a link inside the website so when some body click they directed to product on amazon shop by that way ur selling more on amazon but your traffic source not directly searching on amazon.
