My goal is to make $200k/mo. at a $5 rpm that would mean 40m/month views.
I currently get 2m views per month on my channel.

To scale this to 40m views I would have to make and manage 20 channels (possibly even more).

The question is : how doable is managing and making sure everything goes smoothly on 20 different channels?
If not possible how could I hit the $200k goal?

That's a great goal.:);)

It's all the same as on one channel, just twenty times more difficult.))

In fact, managing such many channels is not difficult and can be automated. The main question is whether it's possible to automate the creation of the content you are currently uploading to the channel.

I manage many channels, but having them under one CMS makes it much much easer and fast. I have my own CMS, but there is a limit of adding 20 channels per year as outlined here:
support.google.com/youtube/answer/106934?hl=en

Keep in mind that having so many channels under one Adsense account makes them prone to demonetization all at once, if one of them goes south for whatever reasons. Managing 20+ separate Adsense accounts and 20+ YouTube channels will be next to impossible task for single person.

You can do it smoothly, but use one Adsense account per channel.

It is doable, even if challenging, but it depends on the type of content to determine your consistency.
Yes, you will need a good proxy to run the accounts.

Do not think about 20 channels. Increase the views on current channel. Maximum 2-3 channels is enought to get that revenue.

How do you make sure youre consistently posting good videos across 20 channels? do you have people working under you?
I cant pm you, can you message me?

40m views/mo is outright impossible with my channel. not even my biggest competitors do that!

Yes, people are uploading videos to the different channels, but I see everything on single panel in the CMS. Additionally I can place the videos in ContentID and monetize/block/takedown reuploads, which happens a lot with my content.
With CMS, I can mass upload videos, if needed, without limitations, spread to the different channels at once. Its really handy for management of huge video libraries and channels, hence the name CMS/MCN.

This is quite feasible if a large part of the work is automated. ;) :)

$200k per month will not happen all of sudden. It will take years of continuous effort .

Wow, handling 20 channels is quite a challenge! To reach $200k, try making your current channel even better, teaming up with influencers, and checking out different ways to make money like sponsorships, selling merch, or offering online courses. It's usually smarter to focus on one channel and use effective strategies for long-term success instead of juggling a bunch of them. Good luck!

The quality of your traffic is important. Which countries are you targeting for traffic?

Today manage 20 channels of that volume, you will need a team . It is impossible to do it alone. Also, any online business you do including youtube will need investment when you scale.

Do you want all the account to be the same country?
