anyone have any experience with pumper sites?

so my question is how effective are pumper sites? i have seen some services here on bhw and they just look like glorified tiered backlinking to me. with safe links up to tier 3 and all the spam on tier 4.

looks quite safe i would say but not sure about the efficacy. how much linkjuice would actually pass through?

i'm thinking i might be better off pointing high pr sape links to web2.0's for some safety and better power.

any thoughts?

Tired Link Building still works greatly but you need to plan it perfectly. Before using Web2.0's as Tier1 for your main keywords you need to get some diversified links to raw urls, brand terms & generic terms. You can add PBN links or SAPE links in Tier2 for good link juice and this will surely boost your rankings.

These things should be done in step by step process. Initially diversity is more important.

SAPE links in tier 1 might harm you.. Better if you do them in 2 tier or 3 tier with HIGH PR sites not from web 2.0 -- Will be more effective
