I'm looking for a wing to get under. Anyone have one laying around they can offer? I've been trying to wrap my head around ad center cpc (with vouchers) -> squeeze page -> email list -> $. But there's a few gaps in the process. Such as, 1. lets try not to get banned on Ad Center again, 2. making a squeeze page that has better than %20 conversion, 3. how the heck do I avoid the junk box, and 4. how do I feed the wolves with new emails every day?

PM me if you like, or I can PM you now! I made 15 comments, i'm cool now.

Sorry, I'm all out of feathers right now, but on #2 - learn about SPLIT TESTING, on #3 - use MailChimp or Aweber as the backend on your squeeze page and let them worry about the spam filters, and #4 - why? Send 'em relevant stuff a few times a week. More junk = more unsubscribes.

    1) Good idea.

    2) Start with a strong base. Use a proven layout, or an OptimizePress template. Consider using video, which tends to convert really well. Then split test, split test, split test. Try proven copywriting ideas, as well as really wacky or "out there" ideas. Personalities like "Rich Jerk" started off as a really wacky idea, then took off by accident. So try out some personalities or copywriting ideas that are really off the wall. Sometimes those convert better than anything else.

    3) Avoid the junk mail box by not sending junk. Also, use Aweber, *not* MailChimp. Aweber just has a much higher deliverability rate. But they also have a much lower tolerance for spam. If you get a high spam complaint rate - I'm not sure what it is, probably 1.5% or something - You can get banned pretty quickly. But if you're using Aweber and your "Spam Score" is zero and your spam complaint rate is relatively low, you should do just fine.

    4) If you're having trouble writing one email a day, then why not just mail less frequently? It's really difficult to keep up one email a day, you can get burnt out pretty quickly. You can burn out your list really quickly too, unless they really love your content. Instead of trying to force out that much content, try mailing just two or three times a week. Mail good stuff that people actually want to read and you'll have more opens and make more money than if you mailed every day.

I think 20% conversion is pretty unrealistic.

This. 20% isn't a goal to dream about. If it happens then well and good. But such high expectations will leave you disappointed.
