Let me explain, I have my paypal account and I know the password and I have access to the email, the problem is that I no longer have access to the number for 2FA , knowing that I put a fictitious date of birth on my account I would like to know if it is possible by x or y solutions to change the number associated without access to the account ? Thx

If you're not able to log in due to an old phone number for verification, the only option would be to contact Paypal Support by phone
so, that they can verify your identity and ensure your information gets updated.

You can state that "I switched phones and lost my authenticator app. Can you help me remove it please?"

Make sure you have the following details ready:

- Your PayPal email
- Last 4 digits of bank account / credit cards on the account
- Mobile phone number (and have the phone in front of you)

They will send you a one-time text with a code to verify you. I hope the issue is resolved soon! Let's Try it.

Probably his problem is he can't verify himself.
Since PayPal is so darn picky i am not sure what he can do.
I couldn't verify myself and i was the legit owner but someone hacked it and changed the information on it.
But try contacting PayPal you might get lucky.
Maybe if you know the credit card numbers on the account and address that might be enough.
If you put a false data of birth and can't remember it that could be a issue,

I would recomend using one of these options

1 Use PayPal's Account Recovery Page

PayPal provides an account recovery process, which includes options for resetting 2FA or updating your phone number.

2. Try Using Email for 2FA Recovery
If you can't access the phone number for 2FA, PayPal should give you an option to recover your account via email instead of your phone number

3. Provide ID for Manual Verification
In some cases, PayPal may require you to submit a government-issued ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license, etc.) to verify your identity manually. If your birth date was entered incorrectly or fictitiously, submitting official identification will help prove your identity.

Possible to verify identity without birth date ?
