Anyone has a close relative with Schizophrenia?

Yes this sounds like a description of my cousin, classed as a schizophrenic, however he does fuck all apart from take drugs morning, noon and night.

The woman also has diabetes and not sure if she has any thyroid problems... Will ask my friend to check it out for her as well... Thanks

I doubt that will happen... Even though he is abusive and all he takes care of her... As of now she is beyond any reasoning and not able to think clearly at all. She at times just draws in a notebook some strange things and doesn't talk to any one at all...

The best advice I could give you is mind your own business -she will get paranoid- and get her a gym membership. Yonks ago before modern medical therapies, people with similar issue -all psychiatric patients- were sent to labor camps... These people did manual repetative labour within a social environment... alot of them recovered from their issues -more then modern medicines by some accounts... But then people thought that was inhuman and shoved them in looney-bins but that was dropped because it wasn't working/financial constraints/inhuman... Now people taken care of by their families... sadly this woman does not sound like she is receiving the care she needs... I would suggest you get her out of the house, whilst stimulating her -releasing neurochemicals with exercise...

This is not acceptable at all. The State needs to intervene. This woman needs more help than anyone here can give her. She isn't talking and is being taken care of by an abuser. That is very bad. Call the State and report this if you are in the US.

I like to make people laugh sometimes lol why don't you kindly not bother me. Making people laugh is better than talking about mental illness which brings everyone down, if you are not aware we are living in bad times especially in America with all these school shootings and such. Why talk about it here? Those were quality threads, this is the lounge not a psychology forum.

Also I was sort of testing the waters so to speak. People take themselves very seriously on here so I sort of just fall back now.

I am truly sorry to hear this and mental illness is something I strongly empathize with. It's a prison unlike any other. Feel free to pm me. I know of something that may help (serious).
