Anyone going to AREA 51 raid in Nevada?

I read there's only one 14-room hotel room in the Area 51 vicinity and they announced they are booked SOLID. The town's population is under 60 people and over 3,000,000 people have signed up on the FB page. Of course, not EVERYone of them will go but I bet a lot of people are going to show up.

I have been to Rachel, NV and stopped for a drink at the Aleinn. There was no one in the place when we got there but 10 minutes later half the town was in there to meet us. This has get to be the most exciting thing to ever happen there.

Rough draft of the plan, wish me luck

I hope people realize that there's 8+ miles of burning desert & mountain ranges between the main roads (where you see those signs) and the actual base. It's not as if you're going to break through a fence & storm the compound. You've actually got to get there first.

This is a really horrible idea. I know is seems funny & whatever, but someone, if not multiple people, are going to get killed doing this. Not by the government but by mother nature.

This event is on September 20th, so it won't be that hot. It's usually mid-80s during the day and mid-40s at night.

The government has plenty of manpower to pick up everyone before they die anyway.

To be fair Liver Stream is the right place for it - just incase the military open fire! :p

The military won't open fire unless threatened. Military Police deal with this stuff on a somewhat regular basis.

Everyone will just get trespassing tickets from the Lincoln County SO, cameras seized, and a future FBI (or military intelligence) visit.

Everyone will be watching from the outside waiting for one poor soul to get bombarded with bullets

Im too far away, but I would love to go. Just to see what is gonna to happen. I doubt they will start to fire at people, but they will stop them with crowd control techniques, non lethal weapons.

I'm also "attending". I find it funny that the Airforce actually had to post an official message, saying that they do not advise people to actually raid Area 51 :D
