If you have never been out there, image nothing for a hundred miles or more in every direction. You would be better running offers to rent a tent on Airbnb.

You drive about 90 miles to get to the "village" where there are a few trailers and the "Little Ale'Inn"
It is desert. NOTHING out there.
It is the only place around to eat and meet people.
Then you can go to the fence and see the sign.
And THAT IS IT.
Nothing else.
If you are there at night it is scary driving back.
Have a full tank of gas
Extra food and water in case of a breakdown. Cold weather clothes.
AAA Premier so you can be towed back
If it was me, I would not be defenseless out there
"Things" are in the desert. Trust me.

I read there's only one 14-room hotel room in the Area 51 vicinity and they announced they are booked SOLID. The town's population is under 60 people and over 3,000,000 people have signed up on the FB page. Of course, not EVERYone of them will go but I bet a lot of people are going to show up.
