Anyone gets stressed or sad from coffee?

I can't function in a morning without plenty of coffee.
If it's causing headaches or problems, maybe look at decaf or even tea.

Drinking half a pot a day, if I don't get my coffee, I'll be stressed out yes -.- :)

Nothing beats a nice timmies cof in the A M

And by the way - are you from States? I see "anxiety" term being used SO MANY TIMES in the internet, especially by US citizens, that this is even weird to look at. In my country we never used such term, I dont think people really have problems like that. Is it America's national disease? :D or rather people abuse using this term to feel more comfortable and position themselves as a victims?

I feel like people use it as excuse for their failures and as way to hide from consequences of their actions. Like "i am like i am <unscuccesful> because of anxiety". Really, looking at forums, twitter etc. from outside it looks like that. Like every 5 of 10 people how anxiety out there (or at least claim so).

Many times I see people who don't get what they want/struggle for results in my niche for example and a lot of them write about anxiety. It looks like it's kinda "trendy" (I don't know if that's the right word) to "have" anxiety these days.

What you're referring to is the weakness of the last ~2 generations in that they believe feelings are a viable excuse to not do something (basically the opposite of stoicism). This creates avoidance behaviors, which create, reinforce 'anxiety' and make it rampant, especially in the states (I'm from europe).

If you're raised with the mentality of doing what you know you have to, no matter what you feel like, it's almost impossible to start suffering from anxiety.

As to the word, it's somewhat of an umbrella term, which english is rich in, being a concise and efficient language. People definitely overuse it. My language also doesn't have a word for anxiety, just for 'stress'.
