Its been 1 to 2 months I have been experiencing it. To validate it, I checked the members stats. It used to be in between 800 to 900 at any given time but now it hovers around 500 to 600 in weekdays and just around 300 in weekends which is really very low. It explains why the sales and traffic is down.

I may be wrong but I feel like the recent changes made to the forum may turn away lots of buyers. Or it may be due to Google update as well.

Are mods aware of this change ?

Mods kindly take immediate measures to reverse this situation

Which changes made to the forum are you referring to?

Like Restriction of Outside contact information on the sales threads, Hiding of contact information on WTB/HF forum, Hiding of WTB forum from unregistered members.

Usually, buyers want to chat instantly via instant messaging apps. Although hiding these details may prevent off site scams but on the other side, it might be putting off lot of potential buyers.

I suggest the mods to find a midway so that members can be retained/increased and at the same time, scams can be prevented.

People should fight against this change!

By doing something like this:
  • Jr. VIP and Premium Guys should comment more on the threads.
  • Make new threads on some topic.
  • This way, you get "free" marketing for your product if you are using that "Banner" placement below your account.
  • Visitors who didn't register on the forum might see this nicely made banner in "visible threads" where you advertise your product.
  • Make a YouTube Shorts video of your Sales Thread! I mean by this, you copy your Sales Thread name and make a Video about it and upload it to the YouTube. When a person a Google Search keyword, what you want to "rank". The video shows TOP 5 and if you insert link to the comment or in the video to the BWH thread, BUM!! There comes your buyer! BUM!!

Good post, one level marketing is never a good idea.

If I did that with any of the businesses I owned over the years, I would be broke as a joke.

If you own a sales thread/business, you have to market, and if you don't it's usually on you.

I didnt know WTB/HAF is now hidden from unregistered users. That seems bad for attracting fresh people from the web. Are you saying WTB/HAF threads are no longer visible from a google search?

Yes, WTB is invisible for Google web and unregistered users but HAF is visible.

Data?
  1. It's affecting me for sure
  2. It's affecting the guy that just started this thread
  3. You received tons of requests about this in Feedback and Suggestions that you ignored/removed or gave a generic answer
  4. You received tons of question about people wondering why the forum feels so empty as of late and why the decreased activity
  5. You received tons of buyers complaining they can't participate because of post count restriction
  6. You received daily wtb/haf posts in the wrong sections that you have to remove because some people choose to ignore the new rules
What else do you want more?
Actual data.

All I see from the threads created are 2 complaining about an Admin and something about connecting with marketers.

i noticed the drop in inquiries. before i would get a couple each day now I'm lucky to get one inquiry on my threads even with this change which am not sure why it is happening, BHW JR vip is still the best financial decision i have ever made.

wow he just got banned :):)
Having multiple accounts to game the system is against the rules:

3.3 Activity that involves Currency Trades or Exchanges (Example: Exchanging PayPal for any crypto or other monetary assets - including eGold), Buying/Selling CPA accounts, Buying/Selling Social Security Numbers or Identities, CPA offer filling circles, Paying to have CPA offers filled, Requesting fake review comments for other forums' Marketplace sections, Digg / Stumble (or similar) requests and trades, Asking how to make $xxx/day, Any "fake" account for the purposes of defrauding a network or individual, promoting other forums by any means including in your signature, promotion of coaching or training services, creating more than one account on BHW for the purposes of post count inflation or gaming the system.

Well, I think shutting out potential buyers with a wall in any shape or form is not good. There should be another way. My observation from past experiences, is that quite a few prospects find you- the seller on BHW via appearing on google search results. Appearing on google search results is already reduced now generally because of AI summaries that I believe has affected everybody on the web. Infact if you can get your link into an AI summary for your keywords, you have probably hit a jackpot in my opinion. So that's already reducing visibility. Add to that the added wall for the rest of those that make it past the AI summary hurdle, then it will become a noticeable glut in the sales funnel. While I do not have the statistics to prove it, I have actually personally felt a seeming slowdown on the forum. I just put it off to maybe a seasonal thing. Reading this thread though, maybe its not?

The point about doing extra marketing steps to create visibility is good, because as always, more visibility is always good. However those are steps you could also take for content posted outside the community (maybe your website). Why should you have to replicate that cost for content posted within the community for which you have paid a premium in order to exercise selling privileges in the community? Faced with those choices, people may decide to deploy their "extra visibility costs" elsewhere. I think its better to observe the trend and adjust to it to benefit from it than trying to force a new trend.

Don’t tell me that. I’ve only just signed up and I’m trying to reach the required number of posts to achieve Junior VIP status. Although, in my opinion, 100 posts is a lot. If you’re a business owner looking for new platforms to grow your business, it’ll be a real time-sink to level up this skill just to promote your product.

You can apply for a sales thread without 100 posts with a Marketplace Seller account:

I’d rather not overpay by $650. It’s easier to just post 100 messages on the forum—there’s plenty to talk about here, and I can learn new things from other people. But the truth is, your AI content recognition system doesn’t work quite right (in my opinion). I don’t use any AI to write my posts, but my posts aren’t being counted in the stats. It didn’t even count my previous post (the one you replied to).

1. You should know that posts from the "Lounge" section don't count
2. Read the rules ( I know it's a lot )
3. I also find it difficult from a buyer perspective because of the limits for new users. I don't think it's good for business.
It's good to see you've taken all this in within just one day of joining BHW.
