Anyone else not use Skype?

Despite having all of those contact methods under my username here, I don't use any of them and I especially stopped using Skype. Whenever someone on here asks if they communicate with me over Skype instead of using the PM system here, it's always for 1 of 5 reasons:
  • They want me to do something illegal for them (e.g., create a fake ID or a fake passport).
  • They're trying to "do business" with me so that they can rip me off later.
  • They plan on spamming my Skype account with their "services".
  • They want me to ask me for or about money.
  • They me to spoon-feed them.
If messages are involved, I use the PM system. If files are involved, I use email.

I'm afraid to say but I like to use Skype. It helps me to add my close friends & my Affiliate managers to the list. I don't like contacting support team and then wait for 2-3 days. Instead, I just skype the manager and get the work done, instantly. I see that, many top aff players like Peerfly, Ogads (mobile) are active on skype.
 
I only use skype when required on very rare occasions

don't fucking put it in your BHW profile or anywhere online, ever

when i started a fairly popular hire a freelancer thread, i was contacted by around 50 people per day for a few days, after that 20-30 daily for a few weeks, i made it so everything was dealt with by either pm or email or both, never skype, i would have gone nuts
people who can't follow guidelines written in an email or pm, those are exactly the people i don't want to work with and just waisting my time, when on skype, it's not just that you need to explain something twice or thrice, but a lot of cheap talk happens, which doesn't have any merit, all in all, it can be a huge fucking time waster

i only use skype when i really need it and only for business purposes, contacting AMs - mentioned by karupoiss above - is a fairly valid point to use it though
 
I use skype but I don't understand the obsession with trying to contact new people through it.. just send me a PM on blackhatworld, I have e-mail notifications set up so I don't miss messages

Man I hate that shit. Am I alone in this? I understand the business value of a service like Skype, but I hate being inundated with bullshit. Whatever happened to email, or PM's on BHW?

I honestly think that the Skype group threads should not be allowed, as it is borderline promoting other forums and taking traffic from this site. Of course, I'm a hypocrite in that aspect because of my Slack group, but whatever.

Email: Have to hope they arrive and don't get sorted to spam folder. Basically, have to keep manually checking.
BHW: Great site for information but not so much for fluid communication. Refreshing constantly or hoping email notifications come through = pain
Skype: Instant notification on my desktop or phone and it's always in my face so I don't forget to reply to someone.

Personally, I'll stick with Skype.

Fucking opened a WTB thread with my skype on there, 10+ reqs not even from people who want to reply to my proposal, some Milfs wanna hook up, lol as if. Like wtf....gotta deal with all these contacts.
 
C'mon stop being so butthurt, it's just a communications platform used to discuss long term contracts, joint ventures, and anything else that you can't just keep PMing back and forth.. Furthermore, if you want must; addmeonskypeandwecanchat.
 
I thought I was alone.

When I tell sellers or people Skype is NA they act like I am a retard.
