Hi, Can you tell me a fast proxy for scraping reddit? Money isn't the problem.
Anyone else making money streaming with Spotify?

This business is hard. At the moment I have a good setup with real phones and different credit cards and mobile data for every phone. They play music 24/7. I think it can work.
If not I will switch to my app, which play/pause the music on shedule. Then all phones have different play times. If this won't work too, I am out of this business.
I ran one phone few month ago with this setup, to test if it works. It worked perfectly. Got $200 just from one phone (no spotify, for sure) with time schedule.
So I expect $300-400 with 24/7 setup per phone. We will see in 2-3 month.
I would be very satisfied if even one month of it is paid out. However, one thing is unfortunately different from the one test device. I hope that this is not essential.

A day of reckoning is coming for everyone if it hasn't already. The shadow bans are real. With my releases on Traxx, I can see royalty reporting for Spotify all the way out until May. They started shadow banning albums in April and it continues into May. This time, it looks like anything over $50 in May got hit. The releases are still live and I haven't seen any messages from them about streaming abuse. And I'm not going to ask. The shadow ban wave has already hit Distrokid, Routenote, Soundrop and a few others. Spotify is catching up really quick. It seems the safest way is to have a few thousand songs and stream everything all the time to keep the per track or per album numbers relatively small. I'm currently testing whether shadow banned albums can still earn royalties if they stay under a certain number of plays. Unfortunately, I won't know for 2-3 months. I will post back here as I find out more.

It must be Spotify doing the shadow banning? If you already are banned, can't you ask the distributor if there is some issue? They must have the daily streaming numbers to compare with the payout

It is Spotify doing the bans. The albums and songs are all still live but they show 0 streams and $0 in royalties. I hesitate to ask them because I don't want them to block my accounts.

Spotify won't shadowban but distributors may, as they get reports on artificial streams. Spotify may ban/remove songs if its too obvious.

I think it's Spotify. If the distributor is the one behind it, why aren't they blocking accounts or sending warnings? Spotify and Distrokid had a PR nightmare when the banwave hit in January. I think Spotify is just trying to avoid that again. Those botting know they have been caught.

If Spotify would think something is suspicious, it sounds strange that Spotify would still give money to the distributor for them to keep.

Trust me, even if shadowbanned they do pay distros, because shadowban is upto the distributor to decide, some are lenient and some aren't. Anyways Spotify can take back any money they paid to distributors if they found out later they were artificially streaming and etc so they got banned (one distro had this happen last year but since they were a small distro compared to the big ones, even their legit customers were affected)

There will always be ways around it. It just depends on how much effort it takes and if it's worth that effort.
