Bald psychopath. What else can I say about someone writing 100s of fake story telling SEO related blog posts on their website? The dude is tripping with his ghostwriters. It's a massive trap cause he says some stuff that makes sense, but when you try to use it, it's not making any difference.
Applying techniques from his website is a waste of time. He will in fact apply those techniques to your websites when you buy his services. And it won't help you. You will just waste your money.

Neil Patel did a very basic thing: Conditioning.
He has put his face everywhere related to SEO. Articles, videos, etc. everything. In this way, he branded himself as an SEO expert. Personally, I don't know how much knowledge he has, but everyone who knows IM knows it is incredibly easy to take existing content, change it a bit and republish it. This is what most of these gurus do. Nothing original here.

This is the rub, right. That's his whole model and you've bought it perfectly. It's actually why I really respect the work he's done.
You think hes an seo influencer, when in actual fact hes running a business selling marketing/seo services.
It's kind of perfect when you think about it, influencer types tend to hold more trust in their given niche than a 'business'. He's considered worldwide to be a high authority on SEO and can now charge 6 figure seo services to his own highly relevant curated prospect lists.
Kudos to the man, he's monetized the image of being an 'seo influencer' better than anyone else in the game and cleans up.
The question wasn't....Do you think Neil Patel is a clever or successful business man who makes a lot of money?

And yes, his business practices are cringy.

I got a lifetime plan of ubersuggest for $99 and overall I'm pretty happy with the tool.
I thought the fact they even offer this plan for people starting out is a nice way to do business.

I can't hate on Neil. He makes content based on his analysis and what's going to drive traffic. Noobs want that general BS content. But every noob grows to realize that the content Neil puts out is minimally helpful in the SEO realm of things.
HOWEVER, SEO content isn't all the guy publishes. His post on CRO is one of the best out there.

On the other hand, he is ranking for "best web hosting" for #1.
You can hate the first side of him, doubt u can beat the other side. And tbh the information layout on his articles is really good and what google wants.

I got it when I first got on this forum so about a year and a half.
Did the trial, they billed me for a month for like $30 and I complained... they offered me a lifetime membership for $99 and put the $30 towards it. I thought that was such a stand up move and I like negotiating so it was awesome! The plan is limited to 3 searches a day for keyword ideas but over time it works out perfect because you can just do a little bit of research at a time and it's there when you need it.
Anyone commenting he's cringe etc. You're going to miss out if you judge people on who they are vs how they can help you. Neil has been a staple in the SEO industry from the jump. He knows his stuff!
