Hello,

as my title says: Is anybody using SEO Powersuite? Does it provide good data that can be used to rank websites? Is it worth the money? Are the reports useful?

Anybody with recent experience or current users please share.

Or is there another software that's better? Like Raven Tools or IBP?

Thank you

It is an incredible app, but you must have a solid understanding of what makes for a successful SEO campaign. You can't think you know. You have to know.

I like SEO Powersuite over Raven Tools, but pro rank tracker has become my go to. Website auditor is still helpful for optimizing on-site and making sure I don't miss anything

I saw this thread and thought I would pass on my experience with SEO Powersuite.

I originally thought the Enterprise fee was monthly, but given the extensive features, I was willing to pay. Happily the fee is one-time! Glorious. All in all, after trying nearly every SEO optimization software offered on the wide world of webs, I believe SEO Powersuite to be the best. It has exposed issues in strategy that were previously hiding. You need experience in SEO to run this though. You can't be just some newbie. Here's some of the headaches to consider:

1) You can only run each app on one computer at a time.
2) Running more than one app from the Enterprise suite at once will destroy your internet connection after a bit.
3) Do not use 3rd party CAPTCHA killers. They constantly have issues. The SEO Powersuite CAPTCHA killer is a bit pricier, but works well.
4) Don't even attempt to use Rank Tracker and Website Auditor without proxies. Google will come at you bro.
5) This suite is time consuming. If you have multiple sites that you need to check, a lot about 6 hours per site minimum. It has taken us 2 weeks to deal with 12 sites.
6) Keep your keywords in Rank Tracker to less than 50. Anything more, and I find the processes take double the time to complete.
7) I find LinkAssistant pretty useless. We get 10x the responses by doing manual competition checks in SEO Splyglass, and then going after the back links manually. It takes more time, but in the end, you'll be thankful you made the effort.
8) In Website Auditor, add your target region as one of 5 (max) keywords, don't attach it to the other keywords.

That's it for now. Hopefully that helps you guys make a decision.
