Anybody using No Hands SEO?

I just checked about 150k comments with the SB link checker.

The result: 5.

It's really a waste of resources in my experience. But I'd love to get more out of this tool if possible.

If you posted 150k comments and only generated 5 links from it I have to say there is something majorly wrong with your settings or profiles. Check out the image below from another user that has been more than honest about his views on NHSEO:

The above SS was taken after 24 hours of running. If you are seeing such terrible results I invite you to PM me or email me with your settings and profile settings and I will try to help you out. Just because you have not found luck with the tool does not mean the tool is bad.

Update V1.6.3 is out, I strongly urge everyone to update to this asap as it has many bug fixes and improvements to it.

Do you mind PMing me a couple of the websites it was struggling to crawl? That way I can see why. Is it possible it is a flash driven site and doesn't have any html links?

They are pretty basic wordpress sites. It's likely some goofy thing I did setting it up in a hurry.

After reflection I think I have a good guess at what may have caused the issue. I hurriedly set those first profiles up before leaving the house.

I copied the urls from firefox, and double clicking in the address line it did not show the http: // (but somehow copies the whole full address) so I pasted it after the http: // in the entry box; ran it; saw the error where the url began http://http:// ; and then edited the urls in the profiles; and then ran it again.

I probably goofed something up in the database with that chain of events.

is it possible to sort the exported confirmed links by date added?

I changed the OBL to 100 after a couple of days after starting a new profile and when reviewing the exported list I was hoping to see this change in effect but I'm having to rummage through them and check the post date.

Not right now, I could add this in a future update. Pretty small change and could come in handy for some.

I posted this on the (or an)other No Hands thread, but I thought it might be useful here too:

I downloaded the trial on Wednesday or Thursday and ran it for a niche site I was experimenting with. I'd been stuck at the middle of page 3 for about a month, but when I checked again on Saturday morning my site was #1! With results like that I've decided to try it out on some client websites. I'll certainly be buying it after the trial expires.

Thanks for that, I will be updating the testimonials in the sales thread soon as lots of good words are coming in nowadays and I think yours would fit right in.

Hi Jimbobo,

After installing the tool, it just crashes and asks me to report an error. I'm on Windows 7 and tried installing both with and without NOD32 running. Any advice? (tried to send PM but can't since I don't have 15 posts yet)

thx!

What version number and type is it? Type would be trial, portable or installed full version. The only thing I could think that could cause an error like this on startup is not having .NET 2.0 installed correctly. What exactly does the error say?

thx for the quick response. Its the Trial version... Manual states v1.5

Hi Jimbobo, its been 24 hours since I set the OBL to 500 and now there hasn't been an increase in the confirmed comments count since doing this? Should I revert this back to the default setting or is there something else I can change or try?

Thats great Rougemont. How many keywords did you target and how many anchor text words did you use to achieve this result?

I have same problem.
