Anybody has tried a method based on giphy?

I have seen that giphy now let you set a source when you create (caption) o upload a gif.

Can this be a way to drive traffic to a landing page?

Anybody?

My last mind obsession is giphy!
I have seen that you can open an account/channel with your social links (also a weblink).
And when you create/upload a gif you can keep the original source or edit to other (landing page, affiliate link,...)
And you can add tags.

The only snag is that the newest gifs buttons don't work fine (usually don't return any result).

But the channel could be a good place for posting memes and gifs of your content and drive traffic to a youtube channel, blogs entries, landing pages,...
