BHW is a fantastic forum, and I've enjoyed discussing with others and creating content, but surely it's not just myself who feels like they aren't a good fit here?

Seem to be a case of getting warned constantly, especially now the threads are out about upgrading to Jr VIP, unsure of the situation but not much I can do.

I take it, it's the reason why others have left?

Umm it's a forum.

The forum allows advertising.

The forum allows selling (to a degree) ... you are allowed to promote / advertise your product.

This forum is all about finding new ways to make money or promote a product, a chosen few have decided to take a unique approach to the idea of buying ad space. To me in all in the spirit of what this place is about.

This place gets some extra funding, people buying the ad space get extra exposure and the people they are helping have a chance to make a bit of extra income maybe ...

All seems like a win - win to me.

People get warned for violating the rules.

If they violate constantly they get warned constantly.

Plenty of people are here for years without getting any warnings.

Don't worry about it OP, just hold out until you can get access to the papal ;)

On a serious note, not sure what you got snapped for, and no offence intended, but it's really not difficult to understand that you can only sell shit if you're blue and when you sell shit you have to do it in the correct way.

Most people that get pinched for fucking around with selling know 100% what they should and shouldn't do, but they're grimey weasels that spend their lives perpetually taking shortcuts and think they're really smart and that everyone else is too stupid to realise what they're doing.

Just try not selling anything OP and you'll fit in way more I guess, or even better invest in blue then sell all you want.

Also I found out the hard way that calling other people "dumb" is apparently a no-go incase you were wondering, although I think that rule could do with some revision under certain circumstances.

I've not tried to sell anything though, that's my issue.

I've not tried selling anything on here, I wouldn't buy anything from here so selling would be a little hypocritical ;)

Those who try selling under the radar are in effect taking money from those who have upgraded in order to be able to sell or offer services. Getting caught once as a newbie can be excused with a warning, but when people come back time and time again to do this, a ban is needed.

Post count inflation is another popular error. People post 15 times; "Welcome to BHW " to reach the ability to send PMs.

And plus plus double plus.. I've seen a ton of guys open SL's and bitch about being scammed after dealing with people in PMs who don't have the blue power, and what's mindboggling is that el scammerino's way of starting a new business relationship is by skirting the rules of the place you meet them and acting shady from the get-go while people still think "yeah, seems legit"

I'd personally prefer to pay an extra 10 or 20% more to someone that I know has had their BST looked over by multiple eyes who's goals are aligned with mine - to prevent me from being bent over by scammers.

Anyone that has someone drop them a PM, offer something way cheaper than it should be, ask them to come to TG to discuss, pays them in BTC when the weasel asks for it, and then comes here and complains about it after being rogered needs an IQ test and some kind of disability payment from the government each month.
 
You only have to follow the rules mate it’s not that hard. Also, in ac Yao fact the warnings are there to help you - don’t think of it like you’re being chastised, think of it like a notification about a rule you perhaps didn’t know about it.

I’ve had a fair few warnings in my time here, I learnt from them and moved on.

Also, as I often tell people when I do issue a warning, if you’re ever unsure whether your content is going To break any rules, drop me (or one of the other staff) a pm and simply ask.

Despite what some people think we’re actually here to help the forum and it’s members. You just have to put a bit of effort in yourself to show willing.
 
I've been here 13 years and never got a warning - it's really not hard to stay within the rules. There are plenty of times I could have broken a rule but it's really pretty simple to not? I don't see what all the uproar is about, the staff and mods are pretty generous and lenient (as appropriate), so if you get warned just learn from it and brush it off, or keep breaking rules and wind up banned. They don't just ban or warn for no reason though.
 
Dude, if you're getting warnings left and right then it's clear you need to go review the rules. Otherwise, it's ok to make mistakes. I got a warning years ago for posting a giveaway thread, and while I wasn't doing anything malicious...I broke the rules without knowing it. I deserved what I got and moved on. No bad blood :)
 
Learn from your warnings and move on. I did and so do most people here on the forum
 
OP joined 2 months ago? Seems like a little too soon to be talking like an old man about how you don't like how things are changing. It's a free forum, so read anonymously, take part while following the rules or leave.

If you want to sell, get Jr VIP. Seems fair to me.
