Start with gsc to identify which pages & queries lost impressions then compare them with competitors that replaced your rankings, improve pages with thin or repetitive content, add unique value around each calculator, strengthen internal links & consolidate overlapping pages, I'd also pause publishing until the audit is done

No worries. First go and check Google Search Console to see which pages lost traffic. Then adjust those pages with improved information, more accurate calculators, clearer examples, and other useful stuff. Just don’t publish new articles only for the sake of volume . Instead, keep your focus on making the pages you already have more helpful and relevant .
I would stop adding pages for now and checks on those pages which vanished first. compares them with those that were ranking and then addresses the weak nesses rather than rewriting all 130 pages together.

130 ai articles is a lot, but i wouldn't immediately rewrite everything. i'd first figure out which pages survived the update and what they have in common

@Seoerlicking since its a calculator site you need to look at the actual tool and not just the AI text. google has been hammering sites that wrap a simple calculator in 1500 words of AI fluff just to rank. people land on the page to calculate something and leave... they dont want to read an essay. if your calculator is buggy because gemini coded it or if the tool is buried under paragraphs of text, users will bounce instantly. make sure the calculator is right at the top of the page, works perfectly on mobile, and cut down on the filler content. sometimes less text is actually better for these types of utility niches... check your bounce rates in GA.

I'd check the pages still ranking against the ones that dropped first. See what's different, mostly the content and search intent.
Then fix the weak pages instead of changing everything at once.

Don't panic or publish more AI articles yet. I'd:
Check GSC to identify which pages lost traffic.
Compare those pages with current top-ranking results.
Improve the 20–30 most valuable pages first with original data, better calculator functionality, examples, and stronger UX.
Merge or remove thin/overlapping pages.
Improve internal linking.
Monitor rankings for a few weeks before making major changes.

I would first audit the pages that lost traffic instead of publishing more articles Check whether the affected calculators have strong original value accurate results clear explanations and good internal linking Also compare the pages that still rank with the pages that disappeared to identify what changed after the update

I'd start by comparing the pages that kept rankings with the ones that disappeared check content quality search intent originality and whether the calculators actually provide something useful beyond basic answers i would not rush into backlinks until you understand what changed after the update.

First check the pages that dropped for any indexing, link, or technical issues. Fix those things before making big changes to the content.
