So for six month, I am working on a website where I published about 130 article using Al only so basically this is a Calculator website and I am using perpetuity to research about the calculator rates and everything and coding with Gemini and writing the content with mix Al model like Claude Kimi and Gemini.

My site traffic was about 278 and it was hit by Google update June 2026 and now my traffic is 20 visitor per day view of the content still ranking in first page other pages vanish from search engine page.

I am a college student without seo knowledge help me to recover from this downfall please help

i can only say you improve the content of the ones that are kind of down and those that disappear should be rewriten with updated data and content i am sure there will be changes and dont forget the meta title that is important too

focus less on the number of articles and more on improving accuracy originality and usefulness especially for calculator pages Review the pages that lost visibility strengthen their content and internal linking and give Google time to reassess the site.

You should trace the history of the vanished pages if you still have access to them. There must be a flag somewhere which you ignored. Ai content is becoming an issue especially with google. Watch out for plagiarism since you know a lot of other people use same Ai tools for almost same work. If you fix these on the pages, they might just gain again.

I’d Avoid deleting everything or publishing more for now, First compare the pages that survived the update with the ones that dropped, then improve originality, Usefulness, Intent match, and internal linking on the weaker pages.

first compare your winners vs pages that disappeared in search console. check intent, content quality, calculator accuracy, indexing, internal links, and backlinks, don’t blindly delete or rewrite 130 pages just because traffic dropped.

that sounds tough I'd probably start by checking which pages kept their rankings and look for what makes them different then I'd focus on improving the weaker pages instead of publishing more i am still learning too so I'd be interested to hear what recovery steps others have seen work after the recent updates

Six months of 130 AI created pages would make me audit the quality of the work before even thinking of adding more. I could update the pages that have become less visible to includes fresh examples and real answers through your testing.

Do not edit all 130 articles at once. Start with the 10 pages that lost the most traffic and improve them properly.

Since your calculators are still ranking but overall visibility dropped I’d focus less on publishing more and audit content quality originality internal linking and search intent first

If the content is still ranking on some pages, I’d avoid making drastic changes right away. Compare your winners and losers in GSC and look for patterns: intent mismatch, thin sections, duplicate/similar calculator pages, weak internal links, or pages that don't offer much beyond the calculation itself. Fix a small batch first and see how they respond.

You need to humanize the articles because AI articles don't stay ranked for very long, and that's because AI content is very generic.

Google has determined that your articles are underperforming. You need to revamp them, focusing on enhancing content and improving the user experience so that your website can recover its traffic.

Focus on writing genuinely helpful content and get the basic right before worrying abt advance- most ranking problems come from skipping fundamentals , not from missing some secret trick.

in my case i would rather improve the currently existing pages than write new ones. u should compare the pages which still exist nd those which have vanished looking for some differences in terms of quality, uniqueness, search intent nd utility. ai generated content is not always bad but generric content may suffer from updates.

although i m new to this as well i would first use search console to see what pages have dropped in impressions after the change nd optimize those pages rather than creating more pages. is the calculator page indexed and getting impressions?

It is a serious matter that the number of daily visitors has dropped from around 278 to approximately 20 following the Google update however it is

encouraging that some pages are still ranking on the first page This indicates that the domain has not become completely invisible rather Google

is distinguishing between different pages

Don’t panic bro. Since some pages are still ranking, your site isn’t dead. I’d stop publishing for now, find what changed on the pages that lost rankings, and improve those first. Focus on quality and usefulness rather than more AI content.
