Hi, anyone know and use any good VPS hosts for Australia for an reasonable price?

Also my internet speed is only 7mbps, is that enough?, because I have tried a German company and it is quite laggy.

    cheers

Good yes, but very expensive. Haven't found anyone decent for under $60 per month with bugger all bandwidth. I host everything in the US or UK, pricing is way cheaper and I can live with the extra 200ms latency.

7Mbs is plenty enough for a VPS, even at only 2Mb you should get decent load times depending on what you're doing with it, and what others on the same node are doing as well.

    Hostamus is a good one.
You don't need a VPS based in Australia just because you live there. Look I'm in Germany and both of my VPS are in the USA and I don't have any issues with lag. And I don't even got a 7mbit internet connection at home.

I tried berman hosting, have you heard of them before? they are pretty cheap only like $15/m. I got the windows 7 aswell, maybe thats the lag since hostamus is windows 2008?
