I would like to talk smoothly on my youtube videos, without stumbling anywhere.

Is memorizing the only way of doing it?

I was wondering how do people report news so smoothly on the go?

Maybe the script keeps flowing on the screen right?

Any ideas? How this can be eased up?

Would be a big help.

Thank you.

I find that memorizing can help a lot, but it might make you sound a bit weird. The best thing you could do is just to relax and really focus on what you are saying. Place some sticky notes with what you have to talk about on your computer. They do not have to be detailed - just so that you can remember anything.
If you know your subject well, you can talk about it without stumbling. And even if you do stumble, you can edit it out.

i wanna to add something else , you can use software tools like AUDACITY to clear your voice and equalization then clear noisy etc

I always stumble for videos too, its just that weird feeling that youre kind of talking to yourself

I imagine you could try out this idea (just an idea, have not actually done it myself). Have another monitor (out of your camera view) on which you can display the script. Then preferably memorize it somewhat and then scan it while talking? Like a teleprompter? Be sure that you don't actually read it because your eye movement will then show to your viewers that you are reading something. Or have somebody actually hold up cardboard boards some distance away with the key points? Just like Flash cards.

Practice.. I still mumble and say um a lot.. I think it just takes practice. In the mean time, you can use jump cuts to edit out all your awkward pauses and stutters.

I talk to myself all the tim. Just do something while saying it, it'll help you

Hey there. I am actually the same way on camera. What got me over the fear was I had to do one way video interviews on, I think it was Sparkhire. I actually practiced so many times by putting up sticky notes on my laptop. I wrote down what I was going to say and then kept it all up to read side by side on the laptop by columns. (I still practiced it, got comfortable with it a few times, before I kept the final recording. I also had to master trying to memorize some of it so it wouldn't look like I was reading from something. And practice my eye movements. Hope this can help in some way.

Just keep on doing it. That's the best way, trust me. You will get better. Don't worry about the first 100 videos :)
