any benefit to backlinks via profiles??

So i have ordered a couple of backlink packages from people on this forum.
MAjority of them are in the Profile or Bio section of users within these forums.
Is this really a benefit? I mean what use is a backlink if big G cant even access these pages of the member's profile.

ok some forums may have a member's list or something, but what about those which dont? makes me think that all those PR9 to PR4 backlinks are really worthless.. but then i could be wrong too. thoughts?

when the profile will get indexed , Big G will count each profile contaning a backlink to ur site as a new backlink.
That s what I saw when I blast with Xrumer :)
 
Did you get some benefit? Did your money site get a boost on serps? You should know better that nobody if this profile links creation service works or not.
 
I have blasted profile pages using Senuke for months and all of the profiles have been indexed by google and i have seen Jack dodo for results i mean absolutely NOTHING
not even one backlink... maybe i am doing something wrong
 
Yes, my sites did get a boost using profile links. Infact, this is one of the major methods that I follow alongside blogcomments.

You'll find a blog on a first page. Really lame blog, without exact domain name and deeply nested.

Now, if you use siteexplorer, you'll see the dude has mainly forum profiles for his backlinks.
Did he benefit? Certainly.

Profile link building is like any other, do it every day consistantly and you will get results. Quick blasts don't cut it, no matter how many links you blast.

Resource - I do it now, and yes it works!!

Can you share your idea on approximately how many profile backlink to be build on a daily basis, if the page is just new and if is already a year old?
 
No - its a total waste of time effort money.

Just how stupid do we think g is?

Think about it - on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is GODLIKE and 10 is DEAD.

I get the feeling many people here actually think G scores a 10 for intelligence - they must do if they think Profile links help to rank a site.
 
I done few profile for a friend and it got indexed on google in 24 hours. I don't know if this was due to the PR being 4+ but it did boost his ranking. From being on second page, he moved to 5th position in 24hours and only 15links indexed (I dont 50 for him).
Competetion was 400,000+ Broad phrase.

About this, if it was DEAD as you specified than why would G go around indexing on blog comments. I mean blog comments are way more spammed than profile. And they still help in ranking. Why would xrumer cost 500bux if you say it cost nothing. There is a reason why people who make xrumer etc spend ages programming since it does help. And they have many customer who do have success.

Well, I suggest you to read some comments of the people who bought the profile services. They are not stupid to pay 100$ for nothing. :)
 
Sure they work, I know someone who can get an exact match domain ranked on the first page in 10 days or so using profile links.
 
Im off to spam forums now with my SB - i'll let you know how well it failed.

10; braindead. All some guy had to do to own the SERP for "sex" is spam his links to all and sundry, and I'm sure his subsequent rank loss was because some maggot outright told G - not because they were smart enough to figure out anything on their own!

1) It spams blogs, not forums.
2) With that attitude, you're bound to fail!
 
Firstly, SpaceMan you do not know what your talking about. If you had tested this method and recorded results proving it doesn't work then fine. Until then, keep your nonsense our of these threads, jog on over to DP and spread your shallow filled knowledge there.

Depending on what keyword your trying to rank for will determine how many links you need to build. But, before you start building links make sure your page is fully optimised with good content. This will make life alot easier.

Take a note of your positioning in G for your keyword and start building links, how many, this is your judgement - this has to be learned and not taught.

I've had fantastic results.

2 blasts, several thousand links showing up. Moved up from page 22 to page 7 for a very competitive term. Couple more blasts should get me where I need to be.

Does it mean it will work for everyone, NO. But do a blast or 2 and see what happens.

Mix these blasts with a few other techniques, like blogs, directories and traditional sites links or link wheels, social network links etc and you'll get where you want to go.
 
the problem i have found at buying XR blasts are that most of the profiles are not US forums. most of them never get indexed. just my experience so far.
if i had XR im sure it would be a different story. i wont be buying more.
 
profile linkers if the links are not too heavily spammed & google index them are golden... most are heavenly spammed... so its a numbers game... and consistency game... its some good profile linkers out there... try your up and coming sites before you mess around w/ur money site....

dude.. sometimes it is just better to outsource a fulltime linkbuilder w/quality links than bsing around w/quantity of poor links...

Couldn't have agreed more with what iluvvegas said. Even with profile links, quality seems to count alot. And yeah, I wouldn't link them directly to your bread and butter moneysite. Buffer them with web 2.0 properties, so you send links to those instead. Some ppl recommend doing the same with blog comment blasts as well. Buffer with web 2.0 properties to be on the safe side.
