Any ahrefs.com user there?

Replying here again since I've had a chance to look at the tool a bit more tonight... In trying to think of the best way to put this, here is what I came up with. In my niche it's clear who the competitors are. I know there are about 5 sites that show up on the first page. I've signed up for the 7 day trial and using it for a couple hours. At this point I know:

- Two of my competitors have over 100K links.
- The rest are around 30K or less. (My site is brand new and has like 100s of links and is competing with these guys already.)
- I can see in the past year a couple of these sites did major campaigns.
- I can see and download a list of all the spammy links they have. This means I could recreate any of the spammy links with a little effort.
- I can see the less spammy and must be paid for links.
- Found a couple organic links and sent emails to see about getting my site included.

For me, it flips the script a fair amount..
