What exactly happens if PayPal rejects your documents (such as ssn card or photo id)?

Well, here's the reality.

You can't not use Paypal. So use Paypal. Use multiple Paypals. But also use every other payment processor you can get your hands on. And rememeber, NEVER keep a lot of money in Paypal. Never keep an amount in Paypal you can't live with. Because they'll take it from you, they don't give a fuck. Paypal is shit.

That said, your docs issue...

If it's a fake account, make better documents.

If it's a real account, just send other documents. If they rejected ID, send passport. If they rejected internet bill, send electricity bill or bank statement.

Thanks for the advice :) with respect to fake docs, any legal issues/trouble you think? Like will PayPal report this to authorities?

I've never done it, so I never looked into it deeply, so I really can't say.

I guess my answer would be no, don't worry about it. They won't report. They'll just shut down the account and possibly steal your money, that's all.

The report to the authorities could probably happen if you're selling or doing something illegal with the account. But even so, if it's fake, how are they gonna find you? Track IP? What if you use a VPN/Proxy? I don't know.

Yeah I think it's nothing to worry about, but do your research.
