Another new guy. Writer/Marketer

As the title says, I am a marketer and a writer. I have been writing for mills for the past seven years and have only scratched the surface in the affiliate world. I am also and Army vet and I'm always hungry for more knowledge. Feel free to reach out anytime!

I was 11B Infantry gunner in 3rd ID for 4 years, and then 31B MPI for 2. A couple tours in the desert and decided to get out and start a family.

I definitely know how to work hard. I've owned my own business turning products from auctions and finds and selling on Ebay and Amazon when techliquidators and liquidation were new, and switched to freelance writing when things started to get more and more limited. Now I'm just trying to reach out again and get into the affiliate marketing circle. I've wanted to for years, but never took the plunge. I think it's time to start something new though, the freelance market is turning into whoever is willing to take a penny per word and everyone that owns a computer claims to be a writer so they can work from home now. Can't blame them, but it's time to take on some new challenges and try to make good money again.

I got E-5 in Infantry and decided I wanted to switch to MP and they decided to send me to Camp Atterbury to look after soldiers there. It was an interesting 2 years, but very boring. Definitely a small world. I wanted to get into the side you were in, but just ran out of time. I got tired of emptying sand out of my boots haha.

Where were you stationed?

Now the only "mill" that I really write for anymore is CopyPress. I do some work for Zerys, but it's become so saturated you literally have to have the market open and an eye on it at all times. CopyPress sends some good articles to write still, I average anywhere from 5-10 articles daily from them.

I hung out with a lot of British and Australian soldiers in Iraq. Played a lot of soccer when we had down time with them and had a blast. That's one thing that I will always miss, no matter where you are in the world if you're fighting a war together everyone is family. I got out in 2011, haha a few days after you. Nice to meet another soldier, wish we could all work together on some projects. I miss working together with a community.

I'd love to see that list of "how to" hahaha. I'm looking forward to learning some new tricks. Tons of information. Trying to filter through it all. The list of methods is ridiculous, but there is definitely a way to filter through it all. I'm looking for something to get my feet wet in the affiliate world, doesn't matter if it's hard or easy as long as it is something that makes sense and is worth the time. I'm just tired of being interested and ready to start actually getting something started.



If anyone has any suggestions on a good way to start into affiliate marketing I'm all ears. I have accounts with CJ, MaxBounty, CB, and quite a few others from work I've done as a freelance writer. Just time to start using them for my own now and time to start earning for myself instead of someone else.

I'm also very interested if anyone works as a team and you are looking for another person. Doesn't really matter what the project's details are. I can get in to just about anything. Just intrigued to do something new or at least with a twist to what I've been doing for years.

just dont start nuking each other and we will be ok ,
and whine just a tip/advice. mods tend to merge 2 posts
if a user makes 2 posts 1 after the other, so better where
possible to save them time and do it in 1 post or at least
wait until some one has posted after you. just tip
