It's that time again, Google has officially released another update which went in to effect as of TODAY.
This rare pre-announcement of the algorithm update, which Google named the "June 2019 Core Update", was first made via Google's official Twitter account, on 6/2/2019:
“Tomorrow, we are releasing a broad core algorithm update, as we do several times per year. It is called the June 2019 Core Update. Our guidance about such updates remains as we’ve covered before".
Shortly after, Google Search Liason took to Twitter to share a previous "Tweet" from October 2018:
One important part of a multi-tweet streak was the following statement:
“Sometimes, we make broad changes to our core algorithm. We inform about those because the actionable advice is that there is nothing, in particular, to “fix,” and we don’t want content owners to mistakenly try to change things that aren’t issues….
What I believe is important to pull away from this is that core algorithm updates are broad and aren't generally focused on targeting low-quality content. Rather, its purpose is to improve the relevancy of content to users. Showing relevant results to relevant users is ultimately the goal, in my opinion.
Such updates I believe are done to help Google to improve their understanding of search queries and web pages. By doing so, they can improve the relevancy of search results for search engine users and webmasters alike.
The Update is LIVE
The update is NOW rolling out, according to a post at 2:02 pm EST:
“The June 2019 Core Update is now live and rolling out to our various data centers over the coming days.”

Quite the opposite actually. The first image shows a search that was fixed less than a month ago and the second one is still the same even today.
Google (and AI in general) is significantly farther behind than people on this forum will have you believe. It's smart, but not that smart.

Dear new people: with any Google update, don't do anything differently to your site for 2-3 weeks. Don't panic. Let the dust settle.

I'm sorry. I spent my time writing this and didn't think it'd be an issue to post this on the "forum". I'm sure it's being discussed here - it's an SEO forum. I too have decided to discuss it, on my own thread.

But if everyone decided to start their own threads instead of using existing threads then it will be a mess. So instead of replying, each person can start their own. You could end up with dozens of identical threads is all I'm saying

Hypothetically speaking, you're correct. However, we both know that there are many more members that "reply" than those that start threads. Also, creating a thread allows the OP to scope the direction of dialogue for the given topic.

It was "rolled out" today, the update is already live.

So far no real change for me. If it stays that way I'll be happy.
Google is not the only culprit. A lot of things are changing on the internet. Just go with the flow
