I have never been impressed with Moz, and disappointed with AHref. I did not move on to the next upcoming web tool. I moved back to the tried and true scrapers using advanced operators.

Those online tools do no more than a person with a scraper can do; a scraper is also more focused. A person does not need the latest up/down and someone elses idea of what is important. A person only needs a general overview and their information based idea of what is important. Just like link building - you construct and test.

That's true. All these tools do the same thing, they just dress it up differently. I believe one of the basic reasons why folks enjoy using the mainstream tools is strictly because of the presentation of information aka interface.
 
Moz really need to up their game, in my opinion. I have access to a paid account, and I'm not really impressed.

They've marketed themselves well though, so fair play to them for that, I guess.
 
They just got $10 million in Series C funding. I bet the investors want some cash back.
