So Moz just went from 100 to 0 real quick. 25k max rows per month is the new limit...
I love how they blame it as if "they are vulnerable" because they give away so much data. Giving out 25k rows doesn't make your vulnerability any less than does 50k rows... what a load of bullshit they're trying to feed us.
Those of you using ScrapeBox addon, or any sort of service like that, are really going to have to start importing a large number of accounts, likely with proxies, if they hope to keep using Moz for free.
What can we expect?
- Fiverr sellers will spring to sell Moz accounts in batches, just like they do for email accounts. (yes, use my creativity and vision to go make some money and be the first)
- Software services that have API access to domain authority will gain new sales. You likely pay a monthly fee for these services, as the vendor pays for the Moz API access. A lot of one-off software that relied on mass amount of this API will now be less useful.

Hi Mozscape API user,
At Moz, we pride ourselves on giving as much help as we can to our community. This has included providing huge amounts of free, incredibly useful data via our Mozscape API. Unfortunately, this practice has left our API vulnerable to attacks from fraudulent accounts and usage.
With this in mind, beginning in February, we will be limiting our Freemium Mozscape API Access to 25,000 rows per month. Once an account pulls data over this monthly allotment, access will be suspended for the remainder of the month. Service will renew the following month, with another 25,000 rows available.
For those of you who have built or are building free, no-pay applications with this data, please reach out directly and we can come up with a usage plan or bring you onto our new Developer Program ? We are in the early stages of creating this program and want to make sure we continue to support those of you who are building great tools for the community.
Read more about the change here. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or requests to partner in our Developer Program.
