[Anime] Hosting own stuff

Hey guys, we run an anime page and we're tired of these video hosting sites. We want to create our own hoster and already have a script in mind. We do have some questions and it would be great if you could answer some of them and give us tips!

What should we consider to stay safe when hosting these things and how should we handle dmca?
Also where can we get safe streaming servers that have a good price-performance ratio?

Get some bulletproof dedicated server(witch is quite expensive) + premium cdn.

Get a offshore host there are many who ignore dmca

More information is required... What's your traffic like? Budget? Quality of videos?
Including this info will help people recommend the right host. Offshore doesn't come cheap.

The traffic is 5-10k that watch at the same time, our budget is about 400$ and we need a minimum quality of 720p.

you can get an offshore dedicated server (DMCA ignored hosting).
CDN or haproxy setup is must to add extra layer of security

It's not economical unless you build several sources of traffic. Promote your social channels or referrers and then upgrade to a better host.

This one. Many anime sites I knew usually promoted their domain name/website first on Youtube. But then, their videos was removed and the account got deleted. Register a domain name, promote it on several sites including Youtube, but use a second account (not your personal account), in case your account gets deleted.

As for DMCA, use DMCA ignored hosting. You can find those in the marketplace section.

Easy setup but going to cost money, If you dont want DMCA and other copyright shit.

Site on any big cheap host ==> Offshore Host for reverse proxy (Contact them before with requirements) ==> Cloudflare

Just my opinion, dont tell me Its wrong.
