I love all of your suggestions, obviously if I named every single one we'd have a migraine inducing list. Here's some more that I'll throw in, with crappy internet it's pretty much wait for Toonami on weekends(miss the old schedule of weekdays) or buy the box sets.

Yes it is! I'm not big into boxing but that anime just drew me in, I loved how Ippo progressed through his boxing career, and all the crazy antics him and his friends got into lol
 
Can't believ none mentionned GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) it's my best of
o also liked death note,elfen lied and black lagoon
dbz and such stuff seems too childish for me
 
Elfen Lied and Soul Eater, damn I watch so many I tend to forget them haha.
DBZ I definitely grew out of, but as a kid...that was gold. Played all the video games too.

I practically live off of sugar these days so L has become an inspiration of sorts.

How come i dont see Ghost in the shell (SAC) here? Thats my favorite.
Ergo Proxy was pretty good too.
Now i am watching Psycho-Pass.
 
I got into Ghost in Shell, too bad it stopped airing on my network months ago.
Inuyasha is pretty entertaining but fits the DBZ target audience more.

Some very "out there" anime would have to include
Le Portrait de Petit Cossette and Hellsing definitely. I'm more into anime/manga than regular shows...I need acid just to comprehend half the modern stuff.
 
Oh boy, do I miss the days of coming home to seeing DBZ followed by Rurouni Kenshin and G gundam on Toonami...

They're doing a 3rd Ghost series just now, they only do one every few years. I'm all about Attack on Titan right now, and the eventual return of Bleach, now that the manga is ending ( shut up it will happen :( ) If they can finish inyu yasha, they can finish bleach damnit!
 
Sword Art Online I just seen the first 2 episodes, all along I thought it was a website for swords hahaha

Shonen like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece can go on and on, simply because they rely a LOT on fillers...that's what gets me bored of them.
