Hey there,

does anyone has experience on installing an Android system on Virtualbox? I try to do so, but maps or any GPS-based app is not working (just showing a black screen or not loading at all e.g. Tinder).

Thanks
Justus

you can change location on android in the developer mode and that works.
but i have no clue about android info virtual box...
do it on your mobile and its ok

Plan was to set up multiple Android systems on a VPS to run simultaniously. I just can't bring the GPS (maps) to work.. The "mock location"-option is set.

Why aren't you using BlueStacks instead of VirtualBox ?

just install bluestacks on a vps. before you say "bluestacks doesn't work on a vps" , use one of the beta versions, it will work then.

use genymotion, check the image attached...

give me some thanks guys!

looks like you did you find ma avatar on tinder :)

hehe

but seriously, thanks for all the tips. i am pretty happy with android on virtualbox due to the option of cloning the devices (is it possible to run multipe blackstacks?). i just can't bring the GPS to work and i though someone might have the "right" android version or knows the problem (i googled it tho).

Try Andyroid. If i can remember well, while the software is being installed, a virtual box is also being put on your machine, which can be cloned.
