Unfortunately most of us fall among people who buy online.
I think people always want to find ways to AUTOMATE each and every single process to make money. Like for example, they wanna go out and party and want a particular automation service to list their campaign in Facebook ads and adwords etc. They also want a particular automation service to stop an ad if it performs bad as well as to fulfill an order and receive the amount, right? The reality of our species is that the ultimate goal in the future is to automate everything, even automation itself. Automation comes in hierarchies, starting from the simple solutions, ending up in the whole world being automated.
That picture depicts one subject perfectly of how automation works. Someone always has to be on the top and the masses at the bottom the consumers. How many different layers in the hierarchy is depends on the efficiency/profit of the product or a service, or anything else in between.

Also, I noticed on youtube that each and every single method of "how-to" of any online business is there. But people still buy those gurus courses for $497, $997, $1997, $2500 (the non-tan brothers' course lol)
They will spend money on things where everything from step by step is there and they (the people) won't have to make an effort to find those steps online. For this thing, they spend $2k, $2.5k on courses.
Exactly. If we choose to talk specifics instead of abstract systems, you are right. For example, you would think that stock market is mostly automated on microtrading and any manual action would be less efficient, but no. I recently found out that they are investing 20-30% of income on A.I. research and technology and it's never perfectly tuned on how a real human being would trade.
There is no visible ceiling at this point in evolution, we have yet to find more layers of automation. I believe quantum computing with more advanced A.I. algorithms will hint us more into that future. <><
Very good example on how we will never run out of the consumer class. For every 'want' there will be a product to sell, and if demand is low, create one. You can write a book on "how to teach a dog to fly" and with a good marketing that might sell a lot of copies. Just out of curiosity.
It's fascinating how we live in this age where information is free on the internet, and you only have to scrape the sources to find the common denominator (universal principle) and here you go. People pay for courses, because the main reason for them is that the information provided is presented in stages, easier to understand, or the author adds some expertise from his own experiences. And that's what we can find on the internet anyway
